Sloane's Interdictor

Inspired from a list @Cjhutchi posted on here recently i have knocked together this fleet

Thinking is - Interdictor to help win objectives, Quaser to help squadrons dominate, and demolisher to scare oppentents of getting close but also to annilhate any ships that ive defense token whipped with sloane

Definetly not sold on blue objective, really interested to see what the community thinks of this

Unsurprisingly I like the Interdictor kit out!

I am leaning towards the Demolisher over 2 Gozanti now, it does add a much needed boost to your firepower.

For the squadrons, do you plan on keeping them pretty tight together, or protitising different targets?

Would need to play test to fully to say, but would plan currently to keep all squadrons together and Swarm priority targets be it squadron or ship

Definetly going to try and get a game with this soon

@Cjhutchi i got to put it on the table, it did not go well for me

My opponent had a dodonna fleet with a Liberty, Mc30, Corvette and a Hammerhead and just rushed me before i could delete all their tokens. Turn 2 and he took out the Interdictor in two shots and one shoted the Quaser with his Liberty! Painful

Ouch! I just used my fleet tonight, too. Things might have gone better if I'd used the Dengar/Jamming field combo to take out the rebel carrier but I fluffed it and Yavaris plus B-Wings wiped out my squadrons and a torpedo frigate took out the Quasar and then crippled the Interdictor.

It was an interesting fleet to try, but it was really bad! Nothing like enough guns, and the synergy takes some effort to set up, no good if your opponent rushes you.

Fully agree with you, lots of clever tricks but not enough dice to capitalise on advantages

You don't have much firepower, but IMO you can compensate with objectives, BUT you need to survive. Tua / ECM for the flagship, and Targeting Scramble instead of GX2.

Fly the Gladiator in formation with the Interdictor, when you launch your close range run, then dispatch it after it wrecked something. If you find the points, your fleet have a decent chance to live more against accuracy generators and MC30 / Demos.

ECM would definetly help
