I have a small playgroup at my disposal at my local venue, i suffer from the inability to do long travel, so im looking to maybe play online, i know the old l5r game had an online tool, and ive heard of several tools fro this game. Im willing to start up a Friends list to play some new faces around the world just let me know what programs to download or all of them and ill download them. So far im not getting a good play experience due to the only players i get to play against are Crab and Scorpion players and it seems like they are super strong. Im a unicorn player i might add so i had to pick another clan cause i just couldnt get any wins in.

Ive got discord tho im not on the main discord channel, maybe adding 15-20 people to play here and there would be super fun and get me some more exp at the game Feel free to PM me your discord or reply with it.

There is a website which allows you to play l5r in browser. The URL is mahois.fun. It is well done and almost fully implemented now. It doesn't require you to download anything merely register and upload decks with the in site deck builder. There are usually between 10 to 20 games going on it at any given moment now. The guys behind it have done great work and a great service for the community.

there is also a full discord online league. Its going to Swiss then top cut in December but is having a pod style little comp in November due to the worlds. I think they are switching to ringteki as default but players can play with octgn or tts if they both wish to.

the Nov tourney is on sign up now. 8 peep pods playing everyone in the pod. Plus they are trying to sort pods by region and perceived ability so you can go for a low ranked pod if you desire..

if you are very new then go for a '1' as the little Nov league will be podded by suggested ability (think 1 as Starcraft Bronze, 2 silver etc etc if that helps. Probably wont)

Any idea how soon Discord league will move to ringteki? I really like their implementation.

I believe the Nov league will be using it as a default but if players both agree then they could use tts or octgn.
