So with the new FAQ - specifically the Adv Slam nerf I decided to throw together a little Nym Miranda list that'll still work...so without further ado:

I dont think this us a finished product yet, just a basic thought really, looking to use Kanan to facilitate Slam bombing on EI, with some alpha strike via Harpoons and TLT add ons for flavor...

Been playtesting a similar list:

Nym+deadeye+homing missiles+guidence chips+autoblaster turret+bomblett generator+extra munitions+havoc+fcs+genius:45pts

Meranda+TLT+C-3P0+Adv SLAM+extra munitions+2x cluster mines+ion missiles+flechette torps:55

I've found that genius is rarely used and flechette torps are reletivly ineffective, the extra clusters are redundent but fun. Also meranda doesn't like SLAMing as she can't shoot & Regen and as they nerfed Adv SLAM so that it only works for actions on your action bar (no bombs) I'm thinking of replacing it. Nym's turret I've found doesn't matter as long as he has one

Haven't been able to play with Sabine, EI or harpoons but I feel that I must comment if you have 3po and not running havoc use him on nym, Miranda can Regen, nym needs all the help he can get staying alive. I don't see a good reason for kannon, so I'd put Sabine on the Kwing because let's face it, if your running rebel bombers you should play Sabine if you have her and nym needs 3po more than meranda

Kanan is there to make EI work like AdvSlam...since Miranda now gets a stress after a slam bombing attack. The AdvSlam nerf means that instead of 2 pts to slam bomb without stress you can now do it with 6 points without a stress-restricted dial.

I dont see how that version of Miranda works...she has a missle and 2 torp slots, but you have 3 torps and no missles on her.

I like the idea of Kanan, to improve SLAMing, that's creative!

That being said, Sabine must be in such a list, and I think Nym is still spectacular with Advanced Sensors/Bomblet generator. Just because he can't genius doesn't mean pre-maneuver repositioning to better drop unlimited bombs isn't great.

Nonetheless, this build you have is plenty interesting. I don't know if the Harpoons are gonna be tremendous without a consistent crit generator (other than Nym's second Harpoon shot). The Clusters rather than Bomblets on Nym means you have less need for VI. This might be a good opportunity to sub in Predator to boost his TLT shots.

The more I look at it, the more I like it.

There's not much benefit to Miranda SLAMing anyways as she always wants to TLT and shooting let's her Regen so I still feel kannon and EI may be an expensive upgrade that you won't use. I suggest swapping Sabine to Miranda so you can upgrade nym's survivability
