What actions are game functions use the "Watcher" trait?

By player266669, in WFRP Rules Questions

I've just rolled up my first WFRP3E character, a Wood Elf Waywatcher. In choosing my actions, I found two ranged attacks that bear the 'Watcher" trait, and I chose them because they seemed to have been made for my career. However, I can not find any place where this trait is referenced in the game. I know that traits have no inherent function in the game, but I have seen seveal examples of traits being called by other rules or cards.

Is the Watcher trait just there for flavor at this point? Or is there some game function that aplies to it on another card somewhere? I looked through most of them and could nto find one. Did I miss it?

All traits are for flavor currently. As option rule, you can use it the trait restrictively. (example, so only Watcher can take card with Watcher trait, and only slayer can take card with slayer trait).

In the FAQ, they hint that they will be used in "advanced" careers.

I don't have my stuf fin front of my, but I do believe there are a few cards that take advantage of Traits. I'm pretty sure there is a Talent and/or Action card that modifies Social actions (ie, actions with the Social Trait). Also, I believe the Wardancer's career ability (or the wardance action cards?) has an effect based on the number of Wardance cards recharging (or somesuch). Anyway, there are a few cards that do use traits, but most are currently unused and are probably waiting for advanced careers and additional talents/action cards.

As well, the Swordmaster has a set of neat "Way of the Sword" cards. So yes, many traits are in use already. It sounds like Watcher is not one of them.

Thanks for the answer, guys.
