Yokuni can finally be the monk he always dreamed off.

What we've had spoiled for the third pack already consists of a Phoenix, a Scorpion, a Unicorn (Seeker only) and a neutral. This means we are due:

  • 2 Crab
  • 2 Crane
  • 2 Dragon
  • 2 Lion
  • 1 Phoenix
  • 1 Scorpion
  • 2 Unicorn
  • 4 Neutral

To me, this leak has too many Scorpion in it...

I don't think the packs are all going to have an equal distribution of cards per clan. In the last 2 packs, there has always been one clan that only gets 1 card.

I realize that Unicorn and Lion seals give +1 military skill as well but I just picture a Crab Bushi using their seal to bash some poor Crane diplomat in the head!

2 fate and removes cavalry. Can only be attached to your character when defending a conflict but not participating.

Random encounter on the internet lead to Child of the Plains .

So far in both Tears and For Honor, each clan got 2-3 cards. Now I know it may seem like ponies only got one card each pack, but they got two each I can assure you.

Must be photoshopped, otherwise that would mean Unicorn got a good card.

The only Phoenix card in Tears was Isawa Kaede, and the only Scorpion card in For Honor was Bayushi Yojiro. That's what I'm saying. So it's possible that a clan doesn't get a bunch of stuff in one pack, but will in another.

Embrace the Void was in Tears and Seal of the Scorpion was in For Honor.

Oh oops! Can't read this morning apparently. But yeah some packs might be heavier towards some clans than others.

Tears also had Embrace the Void for Phoenix, Glory also had the Scorpion seal as well

Lol happens to me, but usually at night. So far it is looking like two to three cards per clan, since crane, lion, phoenix and crab got three each in the first two packs. I am hoping that the last three clans to get three cards in a pack get them in this next pack, and that the last three packs in the cycle repeat the number of clan cards in the packs so that each clan gets fourteen cards in the complete cycle. That would be plenty of card variety for deckbuilding going into the second cycle that the release rate of the second cycle and beyond can be one per month and not get as stale as AGoT did. Now to wonder about when the first deluxe box drops and what it contains...

It looks like when a clan gets an extra (3rd) card in a pack it includes one of their Keeper/Seeker cads. You don't get an extra for both Keeper & Seeker, just once. This lead Dragon to receive 4 cards in 2 packs, but one is our unplayable (in major Tournaments) Keeper card. When we get our Seeker card (for which I simply cannot wait!), we should also get a third card. This leads me to believe that each clan is getting 13 cards. I am interested to know if they'll be split evenly between 6 Dynasty characters, 6 Conflict cards, and 1 Dynasty holding.

Public Forum is neat.

Now, how do we remove honor from provinces...

So word is Dynasty Pack #3 is being sold by FFG at PAX right now. So all these leaks are now fair game to share.

Wow... tattered missive looks good.

I don't know, its ability can only be used the first time you attack a given province.

It'd be different if Unicorn were Seeker and could use Chasing the Sun to bail out of an attack on Shameful Display of Meditation before their opponent can trigger their ability.

WOW!! Makes the Phoenix seal more relevant.

Mantra of Water looks nice, still waiting to see a better Dragon monk. I hope the Itinerant Philosopher doesn't make it in just to fill out the monks.

Crab Holding

Iron Mine

The Seal makes anyone a monk.

Are the seals any good, though? Spending a card to give a trait for the combos seems bad compared to just getting the +2 from fan/katana. I suppose you can run both.

Wait, so they just reprinted a Greyjoy card and gave it to Crab?

For Dragon, at least, it also combos with the stronghold, and we can fetch, if necessary, with the swordsmith. I'm with you in still considering it marginal at best, but still better for Dragon than most other clans. Maybe with more stuff that keys off monk...
