Oh man... WotCh is immediately making its way into Crane and Lion decks... Honor decks incoming! :P

These are all really cool.

Toshiro... It's great to see a character with some kind of narrative. I really enjoyed the overly specific and non-consequential traits in the ccg ('Sociopath'??). I don't like how basic everything is in the LCG 'Bushi' is so incredibly vague. When you couple that with a character who's action doesn't describe any kind of personality it's a bit of a bummer for a game which is so story based. So it's nice to see something which is thematic and not just mechanical.

Whelp, I have a card that is a must have for my Lion Deck. It's so shiny. Bid 1 for the win!

The honor-walk is real heheheh

Way of chrysanthemum is great, only by its existence makes the game different.

Even in non-honor decks can be a good meta againt scorpion.

I'm conflicted on Toshiro. I mean, yay mil boost. but I don't really like the rest of it. And odd, odd card.

Honestly it’s a killer card for a lot of reasons, I’d consider running this in scorp because of all their self-dishonor tech, if you get a couple Bayushi Manipulators out you could technically grab 6,8,10 honor in a single swing and dig yourself out of a dishonor loss.

incredible card, very well done designers!

My jaw just dropped.

You can play this for 3 with city of lies, and protect it with a forged edict in hand in case of a cancel.

Holy. Crap.

From the Kolat Informant!

Bid 5 against Lion, are you sure?

Way of Crysanthemum + contingency plan, Imoma prodigy/akodo gunso/venerable historian/honored blade.

I think is possible win by honor in first turn.

Yeah, getting the ring, but sacrificing the breaking, and in all likely hood sacrificing the card as well? Winning the ring isn't worth it, not when there are plenty of stat bumps that can be done.

Unless your honor running and care far more about the Air ring then destroying a province.

Worth it if it's the air ring and the last 2 honor you need to win the game.

Yes I dont like this guy either, you will only use the action if you are going to loose the conflict. It fit in a honor/dishonor focused deck that will divide the troops attacking 2 conflicts every turn.

If that's the fringes you want to play in. Still better cards for the boost that don't sacrifice breaking a province.

Hmmm is the inability to break a province a static effect added to the conflict or just while he's out? Basically if you Assassinate him or send him home can the province now be broken again?

LOL! Who else would get Taka! :D :D :D :D

And he's still a Wily Trader. Pity he's not worth 1 Koku.

He also can swing for fire, honor himself, then discard himself at the end to give you a honor.

It's really fair for when you get into situations where you and your opponent are going head to head from your hand, and they clearly want to win the conflict. They end up having the better hand (perhaps against your expectations), but you can still decisively win the conflict. Great for seizing the ring or denying them their ring. It's a good counter to an opponent who has a strong hand, because it negates a closely-contested fight and eats up a lot of hand resources. So yeah, sounds like it's best in an honor-lion deck, but probably good against any other military-strong clan as well.

Helps make Fallen in Battle a little more playable, too. Lion has enough overkill that it might all come together :D

That also seems like a waste of a fire conflict.

Again, so many other ways to get that stat boost without sacrificing breaking the province. He isn't useful outside of very specific decks.

I'm not a lion player, but I'd kill for that ability in Phoenix where I usually fight for the rings rather than provinces.
