[MAFIA] Jedi Academy on Obroa-Skai

So did anybody’s find anything out during the night?

We learned the mafia can be caught off guard.

Initial reaction was roleblock.

Other scenario is that Ebon started the game early, and the Maf didnt get the kill in in time?

Seems we are ahead of schedule and without flavour added its hard to know exactly what went down overnight.

Stop 'Bird Handling' And give us our flavour @EbonHawk ! !

So you were roleblocked I highly presume?

Obviously there is the possibility that the scum cannot kill, but I find that unlikely. Maybe we have a doc who stopped the kill? Or a bulletproof? I do not know and nor do I want to. Such abilities should be kept private. But unless the scum were stopped I find it likely that they wanted to have a repeat of Day 1. It is what I would have done. Excepting twice, Day 1 has always gone in scum's favor. And with the blindness of Day 1, people can get away with the 'wasn't sure' or 'time was running out' excuses.

This makes no sense Nips.... why would scum give us a free night... they have to assume that there are investigative roles in play

Is “bird handling” a euphemism? Is it anything like asphyxiated poultry?

Yes, Round these parts The ladies are known as 'birds' =)

@vis Thats quite a jump to conclusion!

The night was busy with ships in and out, the Academy staff now have time to relax and the teachers can carry on their lessons.

There are reports of member/s of the group that call themselves the Jedi Covenant have been spotted planetside, surely it's not long before they find their way into the Academy, as such all active personnel are on high alert.

Day goes on... 4 to hammer

So now we know nothing more than we did.

Hypothesis A: Mafia attempted a nightkill, failed due to a protective role.

Hypothesis B: Mafia has a delayed kill action, such as a poisoner.

Hypothesis C: Mafia is independent, and an arsonist/posioner.

Hypothesis D: Mafia chose not to kill anyone for...reasons? I dunno.

Hypothesis E: A cult I guess?

D and E seem extremely unlikely, but I’m at a loss.

I’d like to hear from @Caldias

Happy to speak. I did find this interesting:

Well I have an ability... and that ability leads me to believe that there are others with abilities by the nature of its use. So I say we avoid forcing the Lylo and see what we can do at night

You are the only one that claimed having an ability and aren't dead yet. So I think either you lied about it or you somehow gained protection. The fact that you didn't die after claiming an ability to me is the most interesting news to come from D1.

Why would lying about my ability protect me? Im just as surprised that I didn’t get night killed but since I’m a town bodyguard I would have been fine with it. My guess is the doc protected me because of my claim.

I look forward to you trying to convince town I’m scum... remember I’m the guy that pointed out the potential Lylo situation we were in and then saved us from that by convincing town not to go with a hasty turbo lynch

Well, why else would you say it?

Cmon people, we need talking

I do not really know of any well thought out reasons. I just would have done the same thing, because killing somebody gives away info, and blind lynches tend to favor scum.

Admittedly though when I first posted the idea, the possibility of a failed attempt or cops had not occurred to me.

I thought he meant that it is possible that the killers were role-blocked. Not necessarily by a roleblocker (unless he is hinting that he's such a role) but that their action was blocked.

We definitely need to be doing something. I think we have three total votes (not counting the novote) over 2 days. The only real action so far is Cal v Toad.

That hadn’t occured to me, if it’s actually the case, I’m having a 50/50 chance on someone being either confirmed townie or confirmed scum...

Of which only one was serious, which was Pod’s vote on Toad for the no-vote idea

What does this mean?

Well, I’m a jailkeeper, so I had thought that my target had been protected, after you said that, I realized he could’ve tried to perform the kill.

Also why Toad’s claim is interesting, it comes out of nowhere, and it’s a second protective role in a 7 player game, although if there is a second, since he dies, bodyguard is the most likely, so I don’t know on how much to believe or not

Ok a bit of flavour for you all...

Jedi Master Belth Allusis, a Human Jedi master and a renowned Jedi Sentinel and Battlemaster

Im the town Flavour Cop. Can scan One player At night.

@thetoad needs to BG me whilst I gather more Info.

I also think we should lynch someone today to narrow the field.

hmm

I'l start here

So whom did you scan?

Seems odd that you would randomly claim, with no need, demand the protection of one guard and vote to lynch the other. Seems rather scummy, in fact.

Yep, basically

Vis posted as I did.
