You could pre-order them through your FLGS.

I usually just get the to the store the day if or right after release and pick up my copy.

But to answer your question: you should buy it from a store near you.

If you have an flgs, you order/preorder from them. If you don't have an flgs, then you buy online.

I usually wait until the release. Ffg game center always has a "play to midnight" kit tournament that's free to enter the night leading up to a release, then buy the new stuff at midnight.

Bought one copy of Guns for Hire on release day. Pre-ordered a second copy from coolstuff with some credits I had for selling some old crap. My pre-order still has not shipped so... if you want it fast, pre-order from your FLGS.

I have the luxury of two good local game stores that let us play for free all year long. So I split my purchases between both shops as it's my way of showing a solid "Thanks!" to them.

The FLGS I shop at gives a 20% discount on items if you pre-order them before a release date is given.
