Who said Inferno Squad was the only Imperial special forces unit?
Blaze Squadron was an Imperial commando unit utilized between the battles of Endor and Jakku. Created to fill the void left by Inferno Squad, the unit is made up of three members, each an expert in heavy weapons and explosive ordnance. They were also ace pilots, using the unique systems of the Cygnus XG-1 Star Wing to strike with deadly results against any New Republic craft. The members were only known by their call-signs: Cerberus, Hades, and Charon. Hades was the leader, and used a distinctive XG-1 with a solid red paint scheme outfitted with the latest in cannon technology. Cerberus used the half red, half grey fighter and preferred unloading missiles and torpedoes at his opponents. Charon took the grey ship, and was a master of beam weapons such as the tractor beam, jamming beam, sensor disruption array, and ion cannon. As apposed to standard Imperial doctrine, the members of Blaze formed close attachments with their starfighters.
