I mean, that's certainly good. I don't know about broken though. It doesn't have K4 to always give you full rerolls even if you bump and it doesn't have Unhinged Astro to let you do greens in both directions.

If you're playing Tel, you should really take advantage of his pilot ability and put Hull Upgrade on him to double dip. Gonk's great too. If you have Dengar, Expertise is great.

For Illicit, Aces will probably come back so Feedback array is a good idea (Especially if you use Gonk).

Dengar's far more useful than K4 is most situations. There's no restriction to Dengar other than pilot type, but you'll always get to reroll at least 1 die.

Yeah, Dengar crew is pretty awesome, no argument here. I just think the OP's claim of 're-braking' the jumpmaster are overblown. This is a build that has always existed.

The Jumpmaster is still quite good even with its slot nerfs. Just the chassis alone for its point value is very competitive.

Lists that have just one Jumpmaster will be fine without the droid and torps. A three-dice turret doesn’t really need torps, and Dengar is still totally broken even without the droid.

All the nerf did was ensure that triple jumps won’t be a thing anymore, thus kinda proving that FFG likes all the ships in the game to only have one good pilot.

Welcome to the club, Jumpmaster. Now Dengar is to the Jump what RAC is to the Decimator and what Rey is to the Falcon.

My best guess is that Rey with Finn+Kanan is better than Tel, and even Dengar now.

Heck tell me why I fear this at all. Compared to Dengar Nym or Dengar Tel or FSR or Miranda Nym or 3 Scout. Gods, I am so HAPPY these are not unscathed.

Tel Trevura: Hull Upgrade, Push the Limit, Gonk, Title (Optional).

Here, for 38-50 points you have a 12 HP/2 Agi ship which could practically regen 1 shield every turn.

Mix with everything you want and fly for fun!

(personally I prefer to mix Tel with 2 other ships, my favourite are Scurrg and Unkar)

all of dengars still builds work, he just doesn't have the 3 greens or frontload he had from torps if you could afford them.

Tactics change but he's still amazingly strong, especially if you give him something to mod both attacks (expertise, rage/inspiring recruit etc)

Nothing is untouchable save for the models. We can make the jumpmaster firepower 1 if we wanted.

Intel, Cargo, Trick shot is a pretty good build for 27pts. You could run 2 of those and a halfway decent Tel with title and Dengar.

They are still blocking turrets.

It is more likely that we will only see 1 in lists now but the options for the Scout are pretty vast.

A PS 9 large ship with a single action, rerolls, and a PWT with three dice for 46 points?

You need to use EI instead of PTL if you want to double Gonk. The PTL action has to be from your action bar

I clicked on this thread hoping to see an image of a physically broken Jumpmaster model.

When you don't green maneuver, you just take the TL.

Does that even work though? I thought both Gonk actions were still "Gonk" and blocked by the no-same-action rule.

It's still not half a list of frontload damage at mid ps that isn't bothered in the slightest about mods.

Still waiting to see what tears harpoons bring

Is not so neccesary to use gonk double. in the first turns you can do Gonk actions where you are outside enemy fire.
