I don’t know if anyone has seen the snow speeder article for legion. The model looks amazing. It immediately made me think about how a larger scale x wing would look.

IIRC, in the beginning they tried a bunch of different scales and settled on 1/270 as a balance between detail and convenience for playability.

It would sure look nice, but that's a tiny benefit for taking up twice as much table place.

Also not compatible with X-Wing 1 models, but that is just a small consideration we had to make.
Would we have to paint them ourselves? I noticed that the articles say that the Legion models come unpainted, and as someone who doesn't have a great eye for detail nor a steady hand for extremely fine painting, the pre-painted models of X-Wing and Armada were a selling point.
