Yesterday was lucky for me, or more correctly, not lucky for Pyat Pree. He complained that he rarely, or not at all, had seen To be a dragon and Flame kissed. And I confirm.

Nevertheless the games were exciting and even. First game for Pyat Pree, second for me and third, the longest, was even for first few rounds. Finally Stark has dominated the table.

I guess we should play best of 10 or so to really say who was better. Too much luck dependent is what I don't like in this game.

I think the opposite... I love this game because is not "so much" lucky dependent :-) This is a card game so It is normal that in some games you can draw very bad. But I bet that if I play against the world champion I loose 9 game to 10. So I win only one "for Luck" ;-)

Yes I know it's a card game. In AGOT draw is very limited, so the positive side is: every game is really different. The negative side: if you can't get your (for example) locations, because they are in 30-60 cards from the top of the deck then it's a lost game. In some other games if you got bad luck you can just decide to draw more and more and still got a chance to win. In SWCCG you could draw almost whole deck to your hand (of course not without risk).

I just hate when you can win against champion because he could do nothing no matter how skillful player he is. I know, it's a card game, but still I hate such situations

Balance a deck means reduce the % of bad luck... but you cannot reduce risk to 0... and draw all my deck don't get me excited... it is not the solution... I have to underline that it is not fair that only one house can do it ;-)

Played my third round matches yesterday with Jaquen. Lost both 15-5.

I wasn't really playing all that well, didn't adapt my playstyle to the opponent, and did several small/medium errors in both games. Jaquen on the other hand was playing really well, and both games ended up with me losing speed due to lack of resources and him staying in control all the while.

The first game was pretty close (managed to get to 12 power for a bit there). The second one went horribly wrong from the start, with me not taking a mulligan with no income locations, and not drawing into any for two rounds... Winter came, and all was lost. =)

The games were very much fun, and I possibly learned the most from them, so far! =)

I won third round match.

First 15:0, and second 15:4 (5?). It was Lannister vs. Lannister match.

relating to Rogue question about draw... next cp will have "Sword in the darkness"... if you win a mil challenge with a NW partecipating you draw 2 cards... awesome :-)

Lost both to 0. But I don't regret - I saw a really good Stark deck (mirror match) and it gave me a food for thought. At least Jaquen will have a chance to fight those **** Lanni

Do we continue playing with the old FAQ, or do we use the new one until the end of the tournament?

And if we use the new one, what do we do with decks containing "Compelled by the Rock"?

For this tournament we continue to use pre tournament banned card list. So compelled could remain. But we take care of new card exlanations, so for example Fury of the Stag is "till the end of the phase".

I think this is the best choice cause we simulated a "one day tournament" and we cannot modify our decks (bad thing is that my next round is agains lanni using compelled loool :-))

Won my last match against Fifagi?Lannister/Shadow... first game very easy from my side... Second game very easy for him... Thirs I won at 8th plot... I hate lanni and the compelled used against my support... luckly it is last time I see them ;-)

Won my 4th round games against Gilgamesh 2-1 this morning...

First game, I got chocked by resource denial, and it was over pretty quickly, with me having little to say in the matter...

Second game I managed to somehow pull of with a combination of Fat Bob, pure luck and some more Fat Bob (I think he had 10 power at the end...). Really tight, and I almost lost this one several times.

Third game was probably the tightest AGoT game I've ever been in, with Gil getting to 14 power on turn 6, just to get screwed by a reset on turn 7 and me walking away with it at 15-13. This was horribly tight, I somehow managed to stay in it with almost zero resources and a 'borrowed' army...

Great games all of them!
