Hi,
I was wondering how far Creatures Anathaema had gotten in the development process? And when will FFG be sending it to distributers?
Also, is there anything planned for DH after CA? (excluding Rogue Trader which is its own game)
Thanks,
SJE

About two months after they say it will be out.
Do you know if it will be only a collection of stats, or a real bestiary with stats and ecology (like the book Xenology)?
Apparently, it will be written as though by an Inquisitor detailing the various creatures.
So my guess is each critter will have at least one (possibly more) pages devoted to it. Details will include Background, Stats, and a section on how to fight or kill the beast among other things.
Another section in the book will have random generator tables so your beast can have unique qualities such as particular implants, weapons and such above the norm.
Sounds really cool to me and I can't wait for it's release!
Cool- I just heard that we have Genestealers in Creatures Anathaema, so hopefully the extra space will let us have Hybrids and Magus' and Genestealer cults.

Sure!
It will be great finding famous figures like genestealers inside! (poors acolytes...)
And, why not, creatures like the zoats, ambulls or slaans ^^
Read somewhere that the Ambull is in.
Not sure about the others, but can't see why there isn't a chance of them turning up myself.
Terrellians would be nice. But I have a feeling we see no Tau now or ever

Yeah its a pitty about that. I think we should get them for completeness sake. I totally agree with Mr Watsons reasoning of "on the far side of the galaxy" but I'm still gona find a use for them in the calixis sector.
As for Creatures Anathema the last podcast I heard from Lord Watson he said probably around feb/march 09.
He also mentioned that a big DH campaign is in the works aong the lines of a Thousands thrones for wfrp. Release date late 09 i think. I think he also mentioned that there would always be a continued commitment to DH despite Rogue Trader and Deathwatch coming out (I think - correct me if I'm wrong)
Nope, that's pretty much what I said.
Ah, I can't wait for this even though my current gaming group is in 'hibernation'. Bestiarys are always a fun read.

Excellent
*shuffles off to do more nefarious work for Lord Watson*
Well if Disciples of the Dark Gods is any indicator - then Anathema will be incredible!!
I am really looking forward to this book and will get one as soon as it is out. I hope a nice big announcement closer to the official release date is made to remind me. I am sure there will be Orks, which is what I mostly want. The more dakka the better! I'd even by a whole book devouted to Orks, and probably ones devouted to the more "popular" Xenos. A small sourcebook for each of the races would go well...at least I'd buy them all.

Well Amazon, which is never ever wrong, has it down for realse on the 31 Dec 2008.... so June?
Considering my confirmation for Dark Gods had a ship date of 1/25-1/30 (which I have cancelled and Noble Knight shipped it yesterday) I will be the optimist and say release in March, shpping in May.
According to Amazon France, it's currently unavailable, although released in November 2008, and they don't know when they'll be resupplied.
There is something definitely off about them.
What I'd like is a tentative table of contents. It could be a plain text cut and paste, nothin' fancy. Just confirmation of what we'll see. Also, it would come with a healthy caveat about "Maybe some of this will get pulled or axed or purged... we don't know"
I don`t wanna know what`s in it until I have it in my cold, cold hands... I will flip it, page by page... savoring the the various impending dooms awaiting the players...
Seriously, don`t post the index Dr. Watson. Mr. Sherlock will be most displeased. Call it an impuls-control exercise.
I have mine pre ordered on amazon, although no real clue when its going to be released. Usually Amazon arn't bad as long as the book is actually available.
Im looking forwards to hopefully seeing eldar. The current codex book has such a tiny amount of useful information, even a page is likely to match it!
FFG has it listed as February, so I would say March or April and the earliest. I am waiting to buy it from my friendly local game shop.
The same as with any other game product:
Soon
B&N has it listed for 25Feb09. I got mine ordered.
