until we know what ion does to armor and what the 3 wep upgrades are we have no idea.

It has the potential to hit harder than vader at range and probably even to better odds of the same and it has much more range with default weps (haven't done the math but 2 black +2 white would have to come out at least the equal of 1 red)

About the only theory i do have atm it's looking like more than 1 may be a bad idea depending on objectives, they have solid movement but lack of support (and points for that support) may get them encircled and creamed from behind easily.

2+upgrades +vader could easily hit 650 points+. That doesn't leave a lot spare for the 3 trooper squad minimum, and nothing for speeder bikes.
