1 Tycho Celchu ( 16 points)
8 A-Wing Squadrons ( 88 points)

What do y'all think. I forgot to change the Yellow and Blue objectives. I originally had some VCXs. Do I have enough A wings? Do I have more than enough? What about ship selection?

@Ginkapo might know more about sato than me. I played a bit of Sato, but other than my general disdain for assault frigates and nebulons but absolute love of A-wing swarms im not sure how the fleet will perform.

Drop spinal from the flagship for QBTs (on the AFII or Yavaris) and then get boosted comms for the flotilla and change bright hope for a comms net.

You're pretty heavy on the A-Wings. If you want to run FL and MF, you should take 2 VCXs. This also syergizes with Yavaris and the flotilla.

Drop Spinal from the AF. H9 is a better option because it let's you attack flotillas easily and lock Brace at medium. You need Skilled First Officer on the AF since they have trouble balancing squad, CF, and nav commands.

I've run Paragon Sato, Tycho+Shara, 2 VCXs and 2 A-Wings and had more than enough squads to move around and get places. I have tried it with Salvation, and I think QBT is better because it can give you 2 more dice per round. I also like Raymus on Salvation for the CF and Navs. He also works with 2 VCXs. My list also have 2 CR90As which were naked, and 2 naked flotillas. 6 ships and 6 squads at 400 points.

Right, Broba tagged me in this as I am known for using Sato, however, my advice is going to come from a Rieekan list I used to run instead....

First up, Undeadguy has been using Paragon with Sato for success, so I would listen to his loadout for this.

So, my Rieekan list: (Prior to Rieekan nerf hammer, or indeed prior to the OP lists that appeared shortly after I used this... ;) )

Fleet created with Armada Warlords

The reason I raise this is you are trying to get maximum effect from Salv and Yav in a forward facing gun line. This will link it to formation flying with attempts to get 9-12 dice on a single target everyturn. Now in order to get the Sato effect you only need Tycho to go roaming, beyond that you just need a surplus of squadron hull, or to be more precise, bombers. So I would advice you switch away from Awing mass, as you still dont want all your squads sitting in flak range of the enemy, especially if they only have 4 hull! A mix of Ywings/YT13's, hwks may be more appropriate for you, potentially even Bwings.

Now back to your ships for a second. You are utilising Nebs, one of their strengths beyond the 3 red dice, is the ability to take fighter coordination teams. Combined with squadrons you can create a mass of squadrons that slowly move with your ships protecting a weak flank from enemy threat, a mobile mine for Demo to avoid....

Beyond Fighter Coordination Teams, the big thing to add to your list is some fighter aces which would benefit from Yavaris, both against squads and ships. This could be Luke, Nym, Ten, Keyan or the Wedge/Dutch combo. Up to you, but Yavaris is a big multiplier for them, so better to double the use of aces rather than generic Awings.

Summary, Fighter Coord Teams, Squadron Aces and different squadrons, & finally, switch the flotilla for another Neb!

Those squadrons hang pretty tough in every game I have flown them. Han Solo goes with Sato very well imo
