Has anyone ever statted out Darth Vader's TIE/x1 Advanced? I'm thinking of having the ship appear in my game some time soon, but am not quite sure how I'd want to stat it out.
TIE/x1 Advanced Stats
Don't think so, but it's quite possible that it'll be covered (along with the Inquisitor's TIEs) in the upcoming Dawn of Rebellion sourcebook, given those ships have played roles in the Rebels series.
Take a TIE Fighter, lower the speed a notch or two, give it Defense, give it a hyperdrive, give it a concussion missile launcher, lower the handling by a point or two.

I'm pretty sure it's faster than a TIE Fighter by a marginal amount, not slower. Though it would lose a point of Handling. I'm thinking of also bumping up its Armor rating by 1, to match the TIE Bomber and TIE Defender, the closest ships we have to its build. Definitely throwing on a point of Defense, a hyperdrive, and a concussion missile launcher. I'm trying to decide how much I want to alter the hull trauma threshold and system strain threshold. I'm thinking 8/10?
To be entirely honest, you take a TIE fighter, keep the speed, drop one handling, add two hull/strain, a point or two of defence somewhere and a hyperdrive and you're golden.
I'm stating out Vader for a possible encounter in space.
The TIE/x1 was statted out in WEG's SWRPG. Compare those stats to WEG's stats for a TIE/LN, then adjust FFG's stats accordingly. I saw a WEG to FFG conversion document (for characters and ships) several years ago, I don't know if it's still available via a Google search. If it's not, I have a downloaded copy of it that I could make available.
The most important thing to remember about the TIE-Advanced is that it isn't that advanced when compared to the TIE/ln. But it's terribly expensive.
Like most everyone else has recommended, use the TIE/ln stats as a base.
I'd keep the speed the same but drop the handling by 1. Also increasing the armor by 1 would not be out of line. If it were me I'd also increase the HT by 4 and the SS by 2.
With Shields the Def would be 1/1.
Throw on an HC:2 hyperdrive, 1 concussion launcher and increase the consumable so that the pilot could survive a short trip over a handful of sectors.
But that's me.
