I’m going to be pessimistic, I don’t think it’ll change THAT much. TLT Miranda is as good as she ever was, and the Biggs nerf won’t change how OPQ or Fairship flies that dramatically. Rebel Nym is untouched. When we take a step back, I think the old powerhouses are still there with the exception of Torpedo Boats.

Rebel Nym isn't with Dengar, so that's something. The Genius nerf hurts him, too, albeit not as much.

As I understand it, Rebel Nym still uses Genius, so will have to change and adapt.
Miranda is untouched as is Dash, so I expect them to be the list to beat.
You might actually see empire lists again.

you can try replacing Biggs with m9-g8 Tarn
similar philosophy with the other ships in the list, you don't want to shoot at him and when you do Jess and Low spread that damage out
and Tarn buffs his buddies' offense when you don't shoot at him

Ah, that does sound interesting. I've always loved the combos like Tarn and M9-G8, so seeing them get in on a list like this would actually be really fun.

I don’t agree. TLT and ordnance Miranda is untouched by the FAQ. Biggs now needs to pick his moment, but rarely survived the turn anyway. OP cubed lives on and so does Fairship, and rebel Nym is more or less untouched.

Because what part changes for the regenning TLT caddy? Not everyone flies her with bombs, and some of those who did only did it for area denial. Also, see bomblet. And unnerfed Sabine. You won’t find a shortage of Mirandas out there come regional season.

Well, to be fair, most of the Miranda's I've seen lately have switched from action bombs to Bomblets.

"TLT and ordnance Miranda is untouched." That's still true. Miranda still has SLAM for arc-dodging and copious regen. She can still drop bombs. She just can't drop them after a SLAM.
As for the new meta: triple Auzitucks with Breach, Tacticians and Expertise are legit scary. Panic Attack 2.0.
To that chart, Nym still works because it's a TLT carrying PS10 Adv Sensors ship that can have boost and barrel roll, just one tool in the box is now only once (twice with EM) per game. Miranda can still perform fine either as missile carrier or reveal bomb dropper on top of the already very powerful TLT regen with SLAM. Dash untouched. All that equals to Dashing Nym, Nymiranda, and Miranda Dash still strong 2 ship lists.

that's why we never needed this FAQ in the first place
look, there's no question it isn't a set-back from ADV. SLAM. But how much of a set-back is it really? Imo, not a whole **** lot.
