I am happy because this opens up the meta in really fun and exciting ways.

Rebel Turrets now have to deal with being shot at and don't get 4+ extra rounds of health and protection. Welcome to the game that everyone else has been playing.

So this.

Also Crewlo Ren got kinda nerfed(?). If you use his action and they are out of pilot cards you don't get another action anymore.

You'll just have to take EM with bomblet now to get genius effects.

Someone finally said it. The first time you genius+bomblet, discard the EM token, then don't genius+bomblet again. Unless it a do-or-die situation.

I love simple errata like killing an upgrade slot. Very easy to sharpie over the cards.

Dash/Miranda are the squad to beat. Miranda can absorb this nerf.

She dead.

so I can see both Nyms being gutted (even rebel Nym got huge mileage out of "Genius" and boost), but I don't see miranda going anywhere

her regen remains, her TLT remains, bombletts remains a good option on her AND ASLAM nerf can be sort of undone with experimental interface. It's not quite the same, but on the other hand it works on overlapping other ships/obstacles (minus debris due to stress)

Copy that. I see it now. I'm trying to participate in this thread and do my actual job that I am being paid to perform.

Yeah, these dang customers are making my shiptoasting difficult, too.

Is the System slot worth losing the Crew slot now that Genius ain't all he used to be ?

I say yes, but wanted to throw that out there.

Never. I sleeve all of my cards and then those sleeved cards go into my binder pages. I will be printing out copies of the corrected cards and taping them to the outside of the sleeves. What if they bring it back? Then you have black ink all over your cards.

Nope

Also, Sunny bounder's faq doesn't make sense. Her ability can work after a roll OR reroll, but always has to happen before HLC's effects? That is weird.

But I am glad they did say you can roll 0 dice and get her effect to work

It depends. Accuracy corrected TLT or advanced sensors is probably worth more than any crew member

Agreed. What makes Miranda more dangerous is the regen TLT slot and SLAM away.

Jumpmasters are still some of the best ships in the game same with TLT k-wing.

this is a good nerf though. Getting rid of stuff that undercuts manuvering skills is good news.

one big positive, though

the Silencer isn't as crap in this post FAQ environment as everyone feared it would be on preview

So with Sunny Bounder. I roll two hits. Add a hit. spend the TL to re-roll 0 dice, and add another hit.

Perfect.

The Reckoning is coming... Imperials will out.

Maybe.

Obvious crew choice is Cad/Sabine. More damage when bomblets hit.

However, you'd be giving up either Advanced Sensors (barrel roll or boost pre-move for potentially more bomb hits) or Accuracy Corrector (more turret hits).

I can see this coming down to personal play style and experience on the table. Perhaps the barrel rolls aren't as important, perhaps they are.

I think it was meant so you could focus then TL 0 to get +1.

I am not sure what roll jumpmasters have now, outside of Dengar, and maybe Tel. I mean Manaroo can still kinda support Protectorates, but the contracted scout is going to be resigned to being just a blocker, as I can't see any way to give it any sort of punch now.

Sunny's ability is still once per round, so you can't.

So is LWF/Palped buffed? I’m still confused.

Isn't sunny once per round?

Yeah! That's the guy I was talking about!

Mildly nerfed. Palp is declared before either {a} the initial roll, or {b} the LWF roll. If {a} he can only change the initial dice, if {b} he can only change the LWF die. Old interpretation was that if Palp declared for the LWF roll, he could also modify the initial dice.

*EDIT*
I think my above interpretation may be wrong, don't put too much trust in it.
