Nope. If disables the text of the cloaking device (so you lose the cloak action omfrom your bar and you no longer roll for it to break). You specifically don’t have to discard the cloak token, so you stay cloaked until you decloak yourself

Indeed. Palpatine, as steep as his cost appears on paper, was probably still under-costed for his original effect, but post-errata is laughably overpriced.

Yes, if you use genius to drop a bomblet, you have to discard the card (or an EM token)

Exactly. Biggs has probably been one of the main reasons the T-65 hasn't been fixed already for fear of making that broken pilot even more broken.

Now that Biggs has been dealt with, they can fix the ship as a whole.

Still think they should have just make biggs always take one damage when he uses his ability, even if he took 0 damage from the attack.

Biggs is now safely in the realm of needing a core x-wing buff.

i Still think Biggs has a amazing pilot ability. Now that it is no longer always active your opponent now must choose if they focus bigs down first or if they go for something else. If they go for something else you can then wait for the perfect moment to pull their fire from that target to Biggs for a round. And a good round of rebel regen is all a player should have.

The way I look at it you fly biggs in front now and right into the enemy if they don't shoot him, when everyone gets to range one they must and you can unload with your other ships and even biggs. Plus Kananan Biggs is now nerfed too

The more I think about this FAq the more I like it.

Now we just need the TLT nerf. That all crits count as blank results, and were golden

Kannan Biggs isn't really nerfed?

It just flies different.

They forgot they most important nerf, TLT. Make it unique or something.

So I'm growing doubtful over my initial interpretation of the Palpatine/LWF clarification.

Here's the text: "After a ship rolls defense dice and before it resolves the effect of Lightweight Frame to roll an additional defense die, Palpatine can be used on the separate, additional defense die. Note that if Palpatine is used for the initial roll, he cannot affect the separate, additional defense die."

Clearly, when Palp is declared on the initial roll, he cannot change the LWF die.

However, I'd argue that it's still not clear what dice Palp can affect when declared on the Lightweight Frame role. My first read was that "Palpatine can be used on the separate, additional defense die" means that Palpatine can be declared and can change the LWF die, and that Palp effectively puts each set of dice in a silo. But does "using Palpatine" mean declaring the die result you want, or changing the die to that result? This clarification really needed a second pass.

I'm hoping that Biggs' nerf can open the door to a true T-65 fix. Every other nerf I'm satisfied with - although TLT has again slipped through unhurt.
