The FAQ is real!! All the nerfs

After you reveal and execute a maneuver, if you did not overlap a ship, you may discard 1 of your equipped [Bomb] Upgrade cards without the “Action:” header to drop the corresponding bomb token.

You discard a bomb upgrade WITHOUT the "ACTION" header. Bomblet Generator has the "ACTION" header.

This FAQ makes me excited to play Rebels.

With the Biggs Crutch Crippled the faction can finally become something more interesting than Turret + Biggs and Clock Management.

Very true for Rebels!

Well where is the answer?

You could use it to gain a white 1-straight on a Kihraxz or Scyc which don't normally have that move.

That is likely a dumb thing to do anyway. If my opponent does that, I am certainly not going to be putting my ships in his arc.

I am okay with most of the changes, even dropping those torps of from JM5K, but I don't really like that they took of Astromech from it. Doesn't make sense to me, nor should it.

Mindlink, I have been playing with this in my mind, so only two it is.

I'm glad they killed Biggs, because they killed my Dengar too. Just to get more even, no other reason really. But I'm very annoyed that Dengar just got screwed because no more Astromech, no Painbot.

It is lot to chew on! Might take some time to really digest all this, I'm so darn confused already, so now even more.

So ideas, how I should proceed form here, considering my upgrades and all pilots and what not, should I start to modify them with a permanent marker or stickers, or is it also too "permanent" solution, if they change something again?

Funny thing, I sold my Rebels and kept my Imperial, although I am Scum player.

I am not sure what roll jumpmasters have now, outside of Dengar, and maybe Tel. I mean Manaroo can still kinda support Protectorates, but the contracted scout is going to be resigned to being just a blocker, as I can't see any way to give it any sort of punch now.

Contracted Scout + Cargo Chute + Trick Shot still works. It's a right pain to fly against. Kyle of OCX loves that squad.

So Genius nerf kills the Bomblet on it too. Nice

So with Sunny Bounder. I roll two hits. Add a hit. spend the TL to re-roll 0 dice, and add another hit.

Perfect.

Linked Battery Sunny Bounder, here I come. Forget target lock, go for focus! :D

Add intel agent to that list

It comes in a lot more handy than one would think. You can use it to really fake people out, having them either boogie out of arc, or try and rush the HLC, either of which lets you play around how they would move. It also lets M3-As and Khiraxz actually chase slower ships, as they can continually ion themselves to keep pace with rebel slow ships.

Sunny Bounder is 1/round, so the thing you quoted won't work.

Which, while often being dumb, also turns it into a control effect.

but you have to discard it now, right?

which means that the whole point of bombletts (infinite bombs) no longer works with "Genius"

Precisely!

oh wait... turrets still dumpster A-Wings

It still works great now with focus and batteries. No matter HOW you get the double hit, you always make it a triple. ~84% for a triple hit result is pretty solid for a 20 point regenerator.

Not with AT they don’t!

The Sunny FAQ works with TLs but not Linked Batteries. A TL allows you to reroll any number of dice, so it is valid to reroll 0 dice and trigger Sunny's ability. However, Linked Batteries specifically says you may reroll one die, not any. You cannot use LB to reroll 0 dice and therefore trigger her ability.

I suspect that the Punishing One title will get its anti-nerf at some point. My guess is that the original leaked FAQ still left at least one abusive combo that was discovered, so they're re-thinking which slots to staple to the PO title. I think something like [torp][astromech] would be fine, with the caveat that it must be a unique astromech.

I think the Biggs nerf is a bit too much. He already was avoidable by selecting a different weapon. Now that he's "once per game", he should have been back to being unavoidable for that turn, at the very least.

As far as I can tell, it is.

Yeah 1 torp and a unique droid would be fine. Again, you'd still have 2 cards (the overclocked ones) not able to be taken by the set they come in.
