Yes new players will be upset to play a card and learn its not as good as they thought.
Know what they'd be more upset for? Using a banned card and losing immediately/getting disqualified for an illegal deck.

Or worse yet, players who ARENT new buying packs and drawing said banned cards. Especially when its the die card that would be irritating as heck.
Lets say Z6 Riot Baton got banned for some stupid reason. I randomly buy a pack it can be in and lo n behold there it is. Rather than being happy as **** i pulled an expensive legendary, im pissed i pulled a banned card and die

As far as I know, they do! I might actually try this - but I’m going to buy singles if I do... I don’t really want five draft packs!

Oh, I know, five Jawas is possibly the worst deck ever. Still though- I kinda want to try it, just to see. Maybe they’ll make a grey neutral event that’s free and says “spot five characters to defeat a character”. Then it would actually be reasonable... maybe.

I imagine if theres a way to reliably activate multiple jawas at once it might actually be functional.

Control decks usually have issues in the first couple of turns but with the hyper combos gone they have a better chance of not being vaporized turn1.

Ever faced someone that got force push and double throws out? On the inquisitor, which has an ability for character blanks along the same ideas?
That is ridiculous when you get it out. And ive been getting it out alot lol.
