Stonestokes' Squadrons

By stonestokes, in Star Wars: Armada Painting and Modification

I started painting my Armada squadrons about 4 or 5 months ago. Here's some of my progress so far. (Omitted are the many TIE fighters that I didn't care for.)

Those are all excellent, but the Y-wings and the Lancer are really on-point. I'm going to be working on some Y-Wings tonight and I'll be using yours as inspiration.

"That's not regulation."
"I kinda like it."

Some generic A-Wings WIP (I still need to 'Ardcoat the cockpits and paint the guns in either grey or black.)

I am really digging the reverse colour scheme A-Wing you painted. (white stripe down the centre) It honestly looks better with the inverse colours. Great work on all these little guys!

Thanks! I use that one for Tycho. :)

By the way, am I the only one whose A-Wings came with a "swoop" to the left in the nose? I have three packs of Rebel Squadrons I, and two of them come with that swoop, but the first one I bought didn't have it. My solution was to just trim the nose. I kind of like the more "bulldog" look of these guys in any case.
