Just wondering if there are any official answers to these. I’ve seen them ruled both ways at tournaments.

1) Kylo ship: are you required to switch ISTYDS if someone else shoots you? (ie: in Round 1, Ship A is the first to hit you, so you assign the condition. On Round 2, while the condition is still in play, Ship B is the first to hit you. Do you move the condition? If so, can you change the card on it?)

2) Kylo crew: likewise, can you use an action to change who the card is on? If I assign it to Ship A, do I have to keep it there until it triggers? And again, if so, can you switch the damage card on it?

Any insight would be helpful.

1a. Yes, you are required to move the condition as the trigger doesn't have 'may' in it.

1b. No, you are unable to change the card. The only time a card is selected is if the condition is being put into play.

2a. Yes, you can take the action to move the condition to a different ship.

As noted where ISYTDS is assigned can be moved when called for. However, it is only when the Condition card enters play that you search the DD for the card to put on the condition. Of course just because the condition gets enters play that does NOT mean you have to find a card to put on it; no card mean it falls away and in fact if you can't find a Pilot card to put on the Condition you will not be able to place the card causing the condition to fall off after being placed.
