Its x wing. Except its missing most of the upgrades and non generic pilots beyond wave 2. The AI is fine but not great. The AI kills itself by leaving the play area in about 30% of the games and usually takes both focus and Target lock every turn without stress even after performing red maneuvers for some reason so every shot it makes will be very accurate and the game ends up feeling unfair at times. The graphics and sound design are solid. It is a work in progress with updates being added quickly as the developers work to flesh out the missing upgrades, pilots, and actions added as the game went on. Hey, you can fly gunboat before it releases with the app so its nice and fun that way.
Basically: its a cool project. I don't plan on supporting the patreon as I believe it will likely face a copyright strike in the future. But it's neat regardless. Take a crack at it guys.
