Does such a thing exist anywhere online or as an application? Would any of you find it useful?
Scenario/map designer
Vassal IA Campaign module for maps. Gimp (or program of your choice) for creating other graphics. AgencyFB font, some Times-compatible font, and IA symbol font and OpenOffice/StarOffice to put it together.
Having it all in one would be be useful, but either monumental work or restrictive.
Would be nice if they made something akin to the Descent Quest Vault. Then we could make Skirmish map contests, that could maybe be released/rotated into the pool. Kinda like sc2.
My kids and I make our own maps all the time with the puzzle pieces. My daughter even wrote a scenario for a custom campaign she created.
It would be awesome to have some way of doing this and printing it out digitally.
Making solid maps with no squiggly edges was difficult, but the Heart of the Empire gave us a few end pieces. To make things easier, we scrounge through the maps in scenarios and side missions. My daughter loves the narrative campaign elements, my son prefers the Skirmish game.
We're all over Knights of the Old Republic, making the characters for Mission, Bastila, etc.

Fairly sure it's not Times but Minion Pro, by the way.
Nobody would notice the difference at a casual glance, but they're not quite the same. Y'know... just in case you want to be anal about getting it right.
Yes, it's Minion Pro, which could be called a times-compatible font. I used Tinos, which OpenOffice provides.
Oh, OK, fair enough - evidently I'm not familiar enough with font terminology to know what "Times-compatible" means!
