Training X wing players to play Armada

So my friend and I are going to be training out X wing group to play Armada. I've decided that we are (to keep it simple) going to use Wave 1 ships and squadrons only. We will also be doing 300 points too. This is to start it off easy. These are the Wave 1 ships we have availible to us:

3x AFMKII

5x Nebulon

5x CR90

4x Victory

4x Gladiator

2 each of both Squadron packs.

This list includes two Core sets too. What I would love is if any of you could help me make 3 Rebel and 3 Imperial lists. We are sticking to Wave 1 Commaders as well, but we are including all other upgrades. We are also using the squadons from the Corellian Conflict.

So cant help with imp lists, but will upload some rebel ones shortly (within 1/2 hour)

@schmidty1701 with what your using i wanted to give the widest options for fleets i could think of, youll have to choose your own objectives of course :D

These are great fleets! Plenty of choices for new players.

Why do it that way rather than sticking with the wave 1 upgrades?

It's to allow for a little diversity. Like with the CC squadrons. Rogue Squadron has Rogue, but it's still an X wing squad. Saber squadron has Snipe but is still an Interceptor squad. I don't want to go full "primitive" for this. :-)

If you are trying to teach someone, you should probably not use upgrades for the first game or two.

Otherwise, those fleets should be great for players to choose from!

BTW, how many people are you trying to teach?

First: Yes, I'm going to leave upgrades out for the first game. (Although I might consider ship titles to be allowed).

Second: Hopefully 3-4 people. I have a friend who will be helping me.

Can anyone help make some Imperial lists? I'm working on some of my own, but there's only so many ideas one mind can come up with.

Hey @schmidty1701 i talked to my imp playing friend about this topic and he said **** put a couple of lists together and dend them to me, when he does ill post them ^_^
