Australian Nationals List Help !!!!!

By RIP Yoda, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Got two lists that I really want to fly at the Australian Nationals in Brisbane. Just having a hard time deciding which one to fly.
Here they are:
#1
Quickdraw, VI, Fcs, Special Ops Training, light weight frame
Inquizitor, PTL, Tie/v1, Auto thrusters
Countess Ryad, Juke, Tie x7
=99

#2
Dash Rendar, Lone wolf, Rey, prockets, HLC, Outrider, EU
Norra Wexley, PTL,R2-D2, C3-p0, Alliance Overhaul, Vectored thrusters
Any opinions are extremely welcomed!

Both look like fun but id go with #1. All three ships are really enjoyable. High skill list, but still great fun and enough health to survive some things other ships cant. Keep Inq far away from bombs though :)

Thanks so much!

I'd easily go with #1 because if the power and swiftness of it.

I love Dash + Norra, but I'd get rid of the Prockets and go all in with Super Dash (since you have the points):

Dash Rendar (36)
Push the Limit (3)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Kanan Jarrus (3)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Outrider (5)

Norra Wexley (29)
Push the Limit (3)
C-3PO (3)
R2-D2 (4)
Vectored Thrusters (2)
Alliance Overhaul (0)

Total: 99

I think Norra is a risky bet in this ordinance heavy meta (no idea what it is like in Australia though!), since she has low-speed maneuverability.
Miranda is do-able since she can slam away, and if people get stuff to counter nym/miranda (tractor/ion/stress), they screw over norra even harder.

I would pick the imperial list. It's nice and flexible, has ways to deal with TLT/dash (inquisitor), high PS on quickdraw to deal with that race, and juke ryad is just a very reliable piece.

@ModernPenguin How is the imperial list doing better in an ordinance heavy meta? I think a 4 forward or 3-bank + barrel roll forward is fast enough to get into range 1 to prevent most ordinance.. then use her auxiliary firing arc and regen.

With PTL, a red 4 straight and a white 3 bank I doubt you'll be pulling that maneuver any time soon.

I prefer rebels over imp so I'd go with 2# but I would switch EU on Dash for Countermeasures and a burnout slam or (instead of Burnout) I'd also remove prockets and fit Norra with a EU, that'd open up a point and let you put glitterstim (don't really recommend cuz of stress) or scavenger crane to get those countermeasure back.

Best of luck! :)

Right, my bad. Forgot that 4 forward is red - would be pretty stupid to use. 3-bank + BR is still good. Cruise missiles are not that hard to dive.

I dont like Scavenger Crane on Dash - you need to be close..
