When reading Dutch Vanders rule about what happens to a activated sqd when getting atleast one damage it gets an additional damage.

Or can it not, since the extra damage received is after any Defence tokens has been spend?

No, but I can clarify

You don't check for Dutch until after the Damage has been Tallied and Dealt. Brace will halve that tally before it is dealt.

Then you deal another if appropriate.

This is because you havn't suffered damage until you've actually suffered the damage.

And that means actually taken the damage.

Which will happen after the brace.

So yes. If Dutch deals 1 point of damage to an activated squadron with his attack, he will deal 2 points in total, that cannot be braced.

Well, it can be braced, but you're only bracing the Initial 1 point, and as we know, 1, halved, but rounded up, is 1.

We have then played it wrong on occasions here in Denmark, so I just wanted to check what was right and wrong.

Yep.
He doesn't add to the Damage total . If he added to the Damage total , with that explicit word, then you could theoretically brace it.

But he 100% happens after you suffer damage, which means you need to have progressed to the part of the damage step where damage is suffered , or you havn't suffered damage yet Can't do it until that point, and you can't get to that point without already having triggered and resolved the brace.

I believe that one is FAQd.

if Dutch deals only one damage, but Biggs steals that damage for someone else, the TARGET takes no damage and Dutch does not trigger.
