What if we used Nera

Taking the rebel tanky build archetype and doing something silly like using a B-Wing... could it work? 4-dice primaries with FCS/Finn and then add Proton Torpedo turret! Thinking it may be worth a go...

Needs at least 3-5 more extra munitions.

Seems like fun, and probably a good way to practice the archetype but not feel like a complete jerk if using Miranda instead.

Would it make sense to go Finn/Rey on Lowhhrick instead, and just take GC on Nera? It'll be less devastating if someone just burns Nera down with Torpedoes. Wait. No. Lowhhrick doesn't get blank-rerolls. :P

Finn + B wing/E2 = 6 points for a dice you roll effectively once.

Heavy laser cannon is 7 points, you can reroll the fourth dice with a target lock, it negates the extra dice at range 3 and you can equip guidance chips for a second crit on torp shots (or change the torpedos to plasma to find this extra point and still get a crit from GC, even from a blank).

more efficient use of points for sure. I would have to remove deadeye to make it work...

Yeah Plasmas could be good. W/FCS you should just be able to focus. Focus + Plasma + Guidance chips usually results in 4 hits. Even 3 hits will do as much dmg as 4 hits on a proton bc of the extra shield.

Or, w/native (eye) conversion on protons, losing deadeye is not too bad.

But I really like this list! I think it is cool they are all PS5 too!

I'm for sure gonna try this the next time I get to play (looking like it could be a couple weeks...oi)

I don't expect for it to be tournament good, but could be very solid

How about Finn/Rey Lowie and fly with Shara or Dutch? That gets the TL access for Lowie :P

That would technically work. Realistically, I don't think I'd put Finn on an Auzituck without Rage, and even then probably not on Lowhhrick.

Seems a nice list. Either proton pr deadeye plasma sounds good. Let us know how your testing goes!

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with the HLC. A big B wing like this is going to be a fire magnet, to the point where you'll be lucky to even get both torps off. Spending 7 points making your in-arc attack better seems wasted when you could just shoot a torp at them and be glad you didn't go down in flames with it still in the tube.

ah, but I got biggs and lowie there to shred some hits.

I played a game on TTS yesterday and this thing jousted pretty hard. 1 straight to victory! 2 jumps fenn was my matchup, the 2 jumps got torps off on Nera in the first round, stripped shields and a hull. so not bad. I diverted 3 total damage off Norra with evade dice and Lowie's ability. Took one jump down to a hull before it fired on me tho which was nice. Nailing down Fenn was a PITA, but I eventually got him. Lost Biggs.

well this list just became obsolete. lol
