Lmao nevermind, I just didn't read far enough down and usually those are pinned to the top from activity
/shame
Looks like we're still missing the Unit Card for Flesh Rippers.
I bet they messed up the editing on that card bad, which is why they haven't tried to re-release that one article that was up for like... 30 minutes
So I was pretty excited by Warsprinter back when it was revealed, since it gives your whole army an option to advance 1 as a special action. Interestingly though, Berserkers, Flesh Hounds, and Spined Threshers all have advance modifiers! So it really only benefits the heroes (aside from the unit it's on getting the unstable advance).
Tabletop Admiral updated
more and more sad that the golem is the only siege with practically nothing on his dials....
Didn't one of these have to move 1 before revealing dial?
Yes, the fleshrippers had to move 1 before they activated.
that was one of the earliest things we knew outside of the inital announcement.
Remember all the unit cards were in the initial announcement, the dial was unknown
So Fleshrippers are the fastest unit in the game atm.
Premove 1speed, 4Unstablerune move, 2speed bonus move.
And we thought Oaths could zip across and slam into something across the board....
Edited by Vineheart01Am I the only who thinks these guys should be slower?

I feel bad that he seems to be so punished for being such a great upgrade for my spearmen ><

kinda feels like they put too much stock on Threat3, since hes the only siege capable of getting it on a single tray.
I'd rather only have Threat2 if it meant actually having options on my dial (and/or an attack fast enough to actually benefit from my bonus armor action)
Are we thinking Nov 9 for release? I wish my mobile device could actually see FFG's page and images. 4:30 seemes so far away.

Hopefuly 11/9, but probably 11/16 or 11/23
It's raining choas!
"if the Berserkers' ranks become too decreased, they will be unable to spread choas throughout the realm."
Now that I've seen the dials, I can't help but scratch my head at Warsprinter.
If they all have marches as modifiers, why would they want to use their skill action to perform a speed-1 maneuver. Granted, Ravos and Kethra could use it, and it lets Flesh Rippers do a march on green or blue, but that seems so specific. I suppose you run it mostly for the second part where your Berserkers can potentially do a speed-4 march. I'm disappointed that none of these units have a skill action on the action dial, but only on the modifier dial, because that means Warsprinter isn't going to let you charge at full speed.
One thing I love about the Berserkers and Spined Threshers is their ability to reform and then march. Shifting has its place, but I'm hoping to see good things come from being able to march after the reform as a sort of inverse of the Rune Golems' march and then reform.

I have a day off on 11/10, so I was reeeeaaaaally hoping to pick them up on the 9th. Then again, I ordered them online, so I have to wait for shipping anyway.

At this point "They all" is what, three units?
It also gives the attached unit a speed [unstable] modifier march. Seems like it would be worth that even without the extra caveat of giving out speed-1 marches.

Now, the plans of the fel Uthuk Y'llan are finally revealed... I imagine a "Choa" must be some sort of Ynfernael beast similar to the Tribble.

Yes, agreed. I said as much in my post.
Because it makes them crazy fast.
Note that the 1march also applies to the heroes, which dont have a white 1fwd modifier. And somehow i doubt every unit will.
Also, the unit with that bearer gains Unstable march. If those berserkers have that bearer and theres 4 unstables they can move 7 forward.
In fact, unless its 0 unstable its better than the 1march period.
I had assumed Elves would bring the most movement to the table, but looks like I was wrong. I wonder if they were designed knowing that there would be a lot of archery in the early days
Elves shift a lot. Uthuk go in a straight line alot
Viper legions might use the 1-speed. Also, any future infantry that has training could use this with simultaneous orders.
Yeah, it is odd to see the move on other units. and this. Like everyone has said, the heroes and future units will really bring that into light, hopefully. All else fails. I wouldn't mind getting a reform or move 1 at 3, and then unstable skilling 4 more.. So move 5 or reform and move 4 at init 3. That's pretty potent. I think it could just be a biased thing, since I'll be focusing on Uthuk, but I think Uthuk will need the most playtesting on which upgrades will be worth it and which won't... I also think going against Latari with their focus on Unstable Uthuk will shine with using those unstable to rain death upon their heads. Moving quickly to get those shifty Elves or having large range to attack everyone.
I mean, the flesh rippers would benefit from the warsprinter as they would be able to do their modifier advance after a shift...
oh yeah, simo orders.
That way any unit can use a Skill and still get the 1march forward.
I was hoping for December I haven't painted all my elves yet! LOL!
JK. Ship them now pls.
