I'm hoping that somewhere in the game is a sil 2 hyperspace capable shuttle/micro-dropship. Seats for 6 and 2 or so cargo on a lower deck that could be used to deploy small speeders like the undicur jump speeder (endless vigil starship section). I know that there are sil 3's. Anybody know of a sil 2? I want to resin it as a rengineered salon pod for a consular class cruiser.

You will be looking at sil 3 here, not 2.

You could convert a Sleuth easily. A hawk 290 converted for pax would be OK as well. Or the Mon Calamari wander Class Jump Freighter. All size 3.

You could also look at the pods. Size 2-4, but well, they are pods, not true spaceships.

The only thing you're going to get close with is the Life Boat. Note, it's not really meant for anything other than a big escape pod. It has the encumbrance you want and the passenger capacity. If you have access to an Astromech, it also has hyperdrive capabilities. For the passenger capacity you're wanting, you won't find anything smaller than a Sil 4 besides the Life Boat. Sorry.

Why not a sil 3 if you are doing a consular's salon pod? It is easily that large.

You do realize that most riding animals in the game have sil 2? What do you want is the equivalent of a horse capable of carrying 6 people into hyperspace. What you want is just too small. A one person escape pod could be sil 2, but definitely not something capable of carrying 6 people.

That one in your head is pretty good. Why not use that?

There's a pretty big sil 2 combat airspeeder in stay on target (the one on the cover), so I was thinking sil 2 covered a fair amount of range in terms of size.

I was also thinking tie fighters were sil 2 (but i just checkef and they're actually sil 3) and when you consider their wings/panels they're not that small. In previous editions of the game tie fighters were a size smaller than xwings.

Basically it was a brain farther on my part and you are correct I should be looking at a sil 3.

I want to keep things as close to raw as possible in terms of stats, and have a better idea of what I should be shooting for when I finally get fully operational (when is that book going to be released)

So there is a landspeeder from savage spirits that is sil2 and carries 2 pax and 4 crew... So I'd say sil2 covers quite a bit of size... I'd say to just under an a-wing in size. So far as I know there are no shuttles that are that small but this speeder could conceivably be converted to space travel using FO rules... especially since its already environmentally sealed.

However there would definitely be no room for a lower deck storage of speeder bikes.

How about escape pods... we see more than a few instances of escape pods holding 6 or more characters... what size are those? I'd think the standard size for an escape pods would be 2... even on large ships up to and including sil 6 vessels.
