For a moment I thought that was a day-action, careful using the “##” at the start of a new line @ImperialCaptain2017 .
I don’t think that forgetting a hashtag can possibly be scummines, half the player base did it too

Time to speak up. I'm not particularly happy that Vis didn't bother to notice what planet we're on. Nor am I happy with Pod being unaware of who is actually hunting us. I don't think that means he's scum, but it does make me fear for a third party of some kind.

Far away from home, was too focused on my meditations. (lack of research on that one really)

As far as pod, I see four explainations;
1. Its a reference to Nar Shadaa
2. He didn’t read deeply into the flavor.
3. He is deliberately trying to plant the seed that he doesn’t know who the scum are despite it being in the opening.
4. He’s a third party and his flavor marks him as a hutt. If 4, then the idea that we should be looking for/hunting hutts is at least mildly concerning, because if he was a hutt with a pro town role he probably wouldnt have said anything.
Of them, I think that three is the least likely. Four is something to keep an eye on, and 1 feels most likely to me.
Vis not knowing the planet is also kind of meh. I dont know that I really care that much if someone did or did not catch which planet we are on. Catch the players, imo.
All I see right now is some trying to make mountains out of mole hills... is it a legitimate move by a townie trying to muster the troops? Is it an aggressive move by scum trying to steer the conversation? There’s no telling which is why I hate D1...
(bracing for the rage of Truthiness)
The upper levels of Nar Shaddaa are abuzz with life, people teeming in and out of the streets during the day
Vote Count:
@Caldias (1) - Pod
@Visovics (0)
@GhostofNobodyInParticular (0)
@Madaghmire (0)
@TheToad (0)
@PodRacer (1) - Truthi
@CaribbeanNinja (0)
@Truthiness (1) - Vis
With 9 people left in your little corner of Nar Shaddaa, it takes 5 to hammer
Right now all i've got is @PodRacer with a "joke vote?" and @Truthiness pushing.
Both could very well be town moves, as I cannot believe we are already at 8 hours. (That might be a good move @EbonHawk , get the D1 out of the way.)
I didn't use double pound to role confirm just because "role" isn't an action. I think I've used the double pound to do it in the past, but just realized hey, this isn't an action, no reason to do it. I personally don't think team double pound vs team no double pound is worth examining
But I love to pound it out!
Awwwww yeah, baby.
So. . . anyone? I feel like we may end up quick-lynching somebody last-minute to avoid a no-lunch in this case.
I do not think that forgetting the '##' or the forgetting of flavor is particularly significant, but of the two I'd say the latter was more so, as the game appears to be oriented somewhat around flavor. Of the two accounts of flavor-ignorance, Vis' is I think the lesser 'offender', and Pod's may be an attempt at a hint or redirect. However, I feel like both are insignificant.
We have to focus on something else, I feel. But what? Nothing much has been said. . .
I mean, the flaw in a 24 window is that scum can sort of sit back and its too short for us to really call someone out for being quiet. I mean, everyone was asleep for at least 1/3 of the alloted time, although I am glad to get day 1 guesswork out of the way.
So far, no one has said anything that truly concerns me.
My gut says Truth is just pushing to move town along. Someone has to drive, and none of the rest of us stepped up.
Pods statement is to me, either innocuous podery or maybe a hint at a third party presence. I mean, he could well be scum but that statement isnt evidence to that effect in my mind. More likely he’s just Podding about.?
Cal, Ninja and Nips all posted the textual equivalent of “shrug”. Which is a nice, safe place to play it for any affiliation, because except for the scum players, its likely true. And the truth is one of the most valuable tools in the liar’s toolkit.

This might also be “shrug”. Of course, it could also be a way to try and judo flip the momentum from driving the conversation back onto Truth. I often see that especially D1, its the players who speak up the most that wind up receiving the most scrutiny. Its natural, of course, as they have provided the most for other players to examine. But often, its a town player playing in ignorance that gets snagged by an opportunistic scum player who assigns a nonexistent motivation to a comment or a line of questioning.
Like, for example, “an aggressive scum move to steer the conversation”.
Which do you think it is Toad?
I agree that Truth is driving, which is good for town, but one thing I noticed that is a bit strange is Mad and Truth didn't vote for each other and post Highlander memes.
Truth is driving the game no doubt, he is taking no chances of easy scum wins like the last games and seems to have taken matters into own hands

It’s funny... in a way you are also assigning a non-existent motivation to me by only mentioning the latter half of my comment...
I’m not trying to put anything on Truthi that isn’t there, we need to be wary of everyone... especially those who try to drive investigation based on (in my opinion) weak evidence

Naw, I merely pointed it out, and allowed you to clarify your position.
Whosever winds up hammered wont be hammered on the basis of strong evidence tho, unless someone slips up badly. D1 is like round 14 of a fantasy football draft. You pick someone you got a feeling about and hope it works out.
Holy ****, six hours! I kinda dig the speedy day one, forces us to focus. I agree with GNiPs. While flavor/pound is probably not worth examining, what should we focus on?
13 minutes ago, Visovics said:Truth is driving the game no doubt, he is taking no chances of easy scum wins like the last games and seems to have taken matters into own hands
Just curious, and this is by no means any sort of accusation, but if you think this (which seems to indicate you believe Truth is town) why is your vote still on him?

We stopped doing that a few games ago. Its run its course.

Really not much to do something proper D1, the real question is who to vote/pressure?...
Good to see Mad jumping in to move the conversation along. I'll keep my vote on Pod for now for lack of a better lead. Despite that, I'm most inclined to think that worst case he's third party Hutt.
Vis, you backed off pretty quick. A little timid to draw attention on this opening day ?
Toad, as Mad pointed, you were pretty quick to try the old "he's talking and accusing people!" card that Scum love to use on day one. You likewise backed down pretty easily once Mad called you out.
