This is basically running pre-Vets Defenders with a 2 pt Predator and no cannon. Not worth it in the slightest.

you're paying four points over an x7 to trade a free evade action for a single attack die re-roll

you literally get the same benefit out of an x7 predator for cheaper AND you get to keep evading, so it's basically objectively better

x7 title = no cannon
no x7 title = no evade

no evade = old defender issue of going poof due to being predictable fliers.
