Oh noh...
Battlelore will be a different branch ofcourse. No question about that. I think the smart thing for the FFG is to make same thing that they did with the talisman 4th edition. Sell those needed "upgrade" backages that battlelore will work well with the "new battlelore game".
This we saw also in the latest creature pack that there is some try to keep old customers happy.
Don't forget the new Nexus game that will hit market quite soon: Magestorm.
It's not BL system but it's quite similar and have lot of magic.

After finding out more about the game, I wouldn't call this a new Battlelore game or even a new Command and Colors game. Sounds like it is only inspired by Battlelore.
Unless the game is compatible with Battlelore (doesn't sound like it) or meant to replace Battlelore (unlikely), I don't think it will have much of an impact on the future of Battlelore.
I hope you're right. I like BattleLore but I've been a little reluctant to invest in it because it always seems to be just short of all of it's potential. I hope that some of Borg's ideas will make it into production. The undead army would be what I've been waiting for.

Waaoww ! Looks great ! That's the market segment FFG is losing right now with their present BL policy. Thanks a lot for the information, I will keep an eye on this new game.
