I put the "initial" as there is some debate out on the various groups whether more will be added or not. In the past, there have always been a few additions, but not many.

Seems to be the case across all games. Are they trying to make these more exclusive or something? It gets expensive to travel far.

Not only is the Phoenix area missing, but the entire state of arizona is missing!

I really don't want to have to try and drive 6 hours to play in a regionals!

Yeah, really surprised Tucson didn't get it which had great events in the past. Even up and coming Prescott could've been eligible. But all of Arizona? I find it hard to believe nobody applied. It's a long shot, but I gave them my 2 cents here:

Semi-related question:

When these venues are listed with a capacity of 60, or 120, or 200, etc etc, are they within their rights to say "We only accept registration of up to 12 (or 24, 36, etc) players for this event"?

Canadian sites have all been sent an email from Asmodee. Just working out details. Let's hope it's not too close to our nationals in March . Hoping to see some of our international friends at both!

Yeah, I was sad to see Tulsa left off this year. My closest events are all five hours away. :-/
