Anything that does two ion tokens in one attack phase would be AWESOME in this two ship meta.

Either it’s 1 damage and 1 ion per attack, in which case it’s gotta be about 7 points; or just 1 ion per attack, in which case it’s probably worth about 2 points. Either way, I like the idea.

Could have a compromise - two attacks where on each one, if it hits, cancel all dice results and add 1 ion token. Then, after the second attack, if there are two or more ion tokens, deal 1 damage.

That is a bit clunky, though, but it would allow it to do only one damage while still delivering up to two ion tokens.

Really, though, I'd be fine with something that just dealt ion tokens without any damage - particularly if it could deal up to two of them.

Kestal would love it very much. My problem is that I don't want Ion control to be a big thing, without the imperials getting them some. So, if its a turret, it has to be cannon too (for the GUNBOAT of course)
