Friendly reminder that we have a friendly and active community ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/OttawaGatineauXwing ) and League ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/bytownsmugglers/ ) with multiple events a month if you're looking for people to play with in the national capital region.

We tend to be more on the casual side and very welcoming of anyone that wants to learn to play this game. I figured it was about time we more actively sought new players.

Upcoming events

Our League tournament is on October 21st, and everyone is welcome to take part. The third season of the League should kick off soon afterwards.

Boutique FDB has a Guns for Hire tournament on November 4, TOed by yours truly.

Are you able to post any details as to when there are regular meetings please? I'll be travelling through the Ottawa area for the next two weeks and would be keen to try make a gaming night or two.

Our Facebook group is where you should go to scope that out.

There is a welterweight tournament tomorrow at FDB (named, small-base, PS6 and under) tournament tomorrow.

As for regular meet-up, given the looming 2.0 and summer, it's more people asking if others will show up than a regular routine at this point.

My son and I are mostly retired from the competitive scene, so I'm not sure how many people show up when and where.
