Actually...this is what I thought too.

But a dangerous path this is to take...

A few months back, I Googled up other board games...one thing led to another and then...I ended up on Kickstarter.

Fast-forward a few months - half a dozen board games backed...

There is not a single day when my wallet does not suffer.

There have been a few times where I have ventured into other tabletop game territory, but I have enough trouble keeping up with X-wing and Armada, and a hard enough time trying to actually get games in for those.

Pretty much sticking with the video games where I am already pretty well invested in equipment and local community. Not to mention I have no idea how tabletop players manage to store all this stuff

I have been to kickstarter exactly one time--to back a friend's terrain company launch.

Just like I manage to avoid being too curious about what the inside of a crack den is like.

It's better not to know.

It looks like they made the release date official for Guns for Hire 10/26/17. So I imagine they will say something soon!

It could be worse, we could be in attack wing's boat. We could be sitting in denial that our game is swirling down the toilet, with card only expansions after the company crapped out so many sub-par models with overpowered cards. Xwing will never be as bad as that disaster.

It can be tough, but it depends on the games. I have a ton of small games like Star Fluxx and Exploding Kittens that take up very little room. Compare that to the entire shelf that's devoted to just Pandemic, it's expansions, variants, and alternate formats.

They take up a fair bit of space, but if I had to ditch them or X-wing in the morning, I'd ditch X-wing. The other games provide far more variety, and offer a much more social environment. It's also a **** of a lot easier to justify €40 on a whole new game experience over a single aces pack...

The issue is that regionals could start as early as in 2 weeks, if they start at the same time they did last year. Presumably they are not starting until December, where some stores have already leaked their dates in early December, but even so, this is awful late for the official regionals announcement of dates and locations. Not to mention the system open thats in 4 weeks at PAX unplugged, which is only known about because PAX leaked it, not ffg.

Nope, just wanting to build up to the launch of Star Wars: X-Wing 2.0.

Austin TX has leaked december 9th as their regional

That's not an issue. That is just someone in panic because he forgot the whole schedule got changed this year, switching worlds, nationals, regionals and store championships all around in positions. ;-)

Are you referring to the poor OP employee who scheduled all our regionals for may? or me cause I dont know the exact dates i need to plan to travel out of town for regionals?

I am betting kwing ships with original text. No way they'd risk the new wording getting out before they get the faq done.
