After looking at various ship stats I have noticed some strange comparisons. And I have wondered whether FFG is looking at the cannon and legends facts of the ship and applying them to the game. For example A ship like the Punishing One has a hull point total of 5, considering it's quite a large ship it's hull point is low. How can a significantly smaller ship like the auzituck have more hull and how can a flimsy tie be one hull away from be equivalent? So my question is are FFG basing a ship's stat line on it's life in the star wars galaxy or would they tweak a ships stat line to balance the meta, thus not being true to its cannon or legends appearance.

X-Wing Cannon and Legends Reliability
This would be a topic more suited to the general forum, my friend, as it's not really a rules question.

Notions like this are a surefire way to start arguments in any subforum. Restart this topic elsewhere and I would be happy to demonstrate.
Sure thanks
Incidentally, caNNon is a large gun that fires damaging projectiles. CaNon is the collection of lore, events, etc, that are considered official in a fictional world.
This argument presumes that hull is a rating of surface area; I've always seen it as an armor durability rating.
Iowa-Class Battleship = 861' length
Disney Cruise Ship = 1115' length
If both ships were to stand there getting fired at by some other battleship, who do you think takes more firepower to sink it?
I like my Rebel ships with cannons. Specifically, of the Heavy Laser variety.
I'd also like to see X-Wings with better cannons. Except when Poe was flying on Takodana when he took out 10 TIE/fo in like 30 seconds.

The Magic, The Wonder, The Dream, and The Fantasy are all protected by the laughter and imagination of children. Darn near invincible to destroy.
