Hmm, I was going to post an update about the game, but clearly I'm tired because I can't remember the mission we played....I think it was Fire Lanes? Or was it Most Wanted? @PT106 was helping me practice with my Sato list for regionals....and the practice really helped so thank you! I managed to place 5th today out of 24 (missing out on some range rulers by 70MoV)....

5th!! Thats awesome! That was a really solid Sato list, im happy you did so well!

So close to those rulers tho!

Third attempt at the bounty is denied. @rasproteus vs JJs Juggernaut ends with a 209-172 win for me. (MoV 37)

Imperial aces and interceptors, dual flight controller quasars with one being stronghold, and a demo managed to do what no other fleet has. He chewed through all 96 squadron HP I had, mainy due to 12ish from Soontir, and 16ish from Mauler. After Sniping my intel, the Y-wings couldn't do much but sit back and get shot since shooting into counter 4 squadrons with Soontir, while they are protected by stronghold wasn't very tenable. However, Admonition was able to finish of Demo who had been damaged during my first and only bombing run (we'll ignore the 4 Y-wings that whiffed the next turn). My Pelta pinned Motti's Quasar in place and over three round chewed it down. Good game to Rasproteus.

I will also be retiring the bounty against me. I've faced three opponents each of whom build a fleet designed to counter mine while also getting first player. I'm not terribly inclined to play more of those games, as with wave 7 on the horizon I'd like to start playing around with the new stuff.

Cactus defeats @Visovics 268-0 to stave off the bounty attempt on Admiral Motti. Motti used daring maneuvers and the sheer bulk of an ISD-1 Avenger to plow through the enemy fleet. Darth Vader brought an Avenger-type Cymoon, but was caught off guard by Motti's aggressive tactics, losing all shields suffering a critical capacitor failure to make recovery impossible. Demolisher then followed with a powerful broadside to finish Darth Vader's flagship. With the flagship out of the way and the remainder of his fleet retreating, Avenger and Demolisher obliterated the defenseless stations left behind. Vader finally conceded the match with the heavily-damaged Nebulon-B Salvation under direct double-arc assault by Motti's Demolisher, certain to be destroyed before the match was finished.

Motti's force was again augmented by a pair of Slicer Tool gozantis, which proved critical for disrupting the enemy plan to evade and repair Motti's relentless assault.

I played @Irishmadcat this evening. At the last minute Gink gave me a nose punch list, which tempted me. Irish used a Leia triple neb redemption liberty repair group.

We played my station assault, the nose punch worked, but everything got repaired, as did everything else. In the end I got a lucky shot from an obstructed phantom to down a neb b, I had some squads and a bleeding interdictor left alive. The stations died.

312-85 MoV 227 so a 9-2 to Irish mad cat
