I have felt more like ground beef lately. I am having trouble settling in on a list. I should probably revisit the list that won me a bounty but I'm now just thinking that was dumb luck.

So, the @CaribbeanNinja and @Viktor Tanek blood bath has ended in a 283-240 victory in my favor, somehow. Ninja chose 2nd and I chose his Superior Positions, which ended up being the key. Through a miracle, Ninja forgot the objective and allowed me to score 5 tokens. I was completely and totally outplayed, but somehow managed to keep my Quasar alive to finish off his and swing a certain and total defeat into a meager victory. My ships were exploding all over the place and I actually stopped drinking at one point because I was so upset at how poorly I was playing.

Holy smokes that was a great game against an awesome opponent. Thank you so much. I think this qualifies me with a Mulligan.

Second attempted at the bounty is denied!

Pod Racer brought Quasar, Flechette raiders, 3 Gozantis, with a big sloan ball (Jendon, Marek, Boba, Valen, Saber, Mauler, and 3 TIE Bombers) to try and stem the Y-wing tide. Due to a poor maneuver on my part Admonition succumbed to the fighter ball, but not before popping two Gozanti's on his way through. Meanwhile the Y-wings ate through the rest of the ships. One of my YT-1300's, and one of the HWK-290's died, however in return the Imperial fleet was tabled. 400-113 win for myself. MoV of 287 for a 9-2 win.

Boosted After taking down JJs admonition last night,Boba got up to his old tricks, taking down @I_shot_first 's assault frigate in the 6th to secure a 122-21 win for @PodRacer inour game tonight. Close fought tactical affair that i pinched at the death, as greg curses Sloane and her Imperial might.

EDIT: I also note this leaves me one point short of meeting that 28 in 5 requirement, so I'll need a game over these next couple of weeks if someone will oblige me and remind me that Liberty 's die too easily. They felt almost sturdy this game, it was very weird. I also note this is eerily similar to our first game just a while ago, where again I broke out two Libs, and we played PIC, though that time I was first player.

4 automatic qualifier slots remain! But if those get filled that doesn't mean the fun has to end.

After those slots are filled, AT LARGE RESERVED slots open up for you to win, in much the same way!

Each player that wins an AT LARGE RESERVED slot will get a number, based on the order in which they qualify for the slot. When the World Cup begins, any of the 32 slots that aren't filled by a Qualified player for any reason will be filled instead by the lowest number AT LARGE RESERVED slot.

For Example:

Admiral Tidus is the first player to qualify after all 32 qualification slots are closed. He is given AT LARGE RESERVED (1).

General Sindula is the second player to qualify after the slots are closed. She is given AT LARGE RESERVED (2).

General Grievous isn't available to play in the World Cup this year. His slot is given to Admiral Tidus, because he has the lowest number AT LARGE RESERVED slot.

Definitely try for these! There's a fair chance that I won't be able to play; I'm sure there are one or two others in the same boat, so just because you didn't qualify up front doesn't necessarily mean you're out of the running!

I believe so. @JJs Juggernaut might be able to tell you for sure. I think he's been in touch with him.

I've played a game against @PT106 tonight, to practice for regionals. But we decided to count if for the tourney, because why not?

He won in a close and very fun game - 264-112. He was first player, and it was very neat watching his mind work. Many thanks for the late game sir!
