I would say... Yes.

When you're rolling to turn flak misses into hits? Yes. When you're rolling squad vs squad attacks? Yes. When trying to get your blacks to be hit-crits? Yes. When trying to get a crit for Norra's effect when your BCC'd black goes blank? Yes.

Beyond all that, it's also another ship activation, and that is also worth some points. It may very well be the most effective 26 points ever spent in a fleet. ;)

26pts is for BCC...

Gotcha. 26 points for BSS, Ahsoka, and an activation. Still a strong yes.

What's rerolling all this?

Toryn Farr for blues, BCC for blacks. (Edit: and Bomber blues)

Ok, yeah that's a swell combo. I got confused when you mentioned rerolling after failing bcc but that must be the b wings.

Dr Alex vs @PodRacer has finished 6-5 to dr Alex.

I had Thrawn in demo plus 3 raiders and a TIE defender Wing with Jendon and a shuttle. Pod had Sloane in a quasar, 3 flotillas a a selection of squads. We basically blew each other up except for demo and the quasar, but I claimed 5 senior net tokens while doing so so won.

final score 292-241

fun game and nice to learn that Pod lives basically where I used to live

@Viktor Tanek vs @comatose ends in a 462-68 for a 394 MOV (10-1)in my favor. I took first and chose his fighter ambush. With Sloane and Imperial aces vs Garm and a slew of bombers, it was a race to win the squadron game. Fighter ambush ended up heavily in my favor, but it was a great game against a great opponent.

Comatose, I failed you. You killed Suppressor!

So I'm going to give the bounty on me to a newer forum user, @Rikash ! Congratulations!

That said, Rik didn't technically nail down all the terms of the original bounty. With some confusion out of the way, I'm reopening the bounty with the only restriction being no squadrons. Assuming @BiggsIRL agrees?

@Maturin and I played a qualifying match this morning: my current-favorite Defiance/HH/Intel fleet against his Sato Salvation/AF2/MC30 Y-Wing swarm. We played my sensor net objective, as he was first player.

The game ended in my favor, with him conceding in turn 5 after I destroyed Salvation and it seemed likely that he would no longer have the damage to take out Defiance (which had been running from his MC30 like a scared rabbit the entire game). He did manage to destroy my hammerhead corvettes, with Salvation throwing 6 damage with three reds on one before following up the next turn with another 5 and destroying it. The other HH died in a glorious explosion to a combination of his Y-Wings and AFM2.

I was finally able to hammer down his AFM2 on the third round of attacks from Defiance - I needed 5 damage on 5 red and two blue in order to get past his ECM, which, fortunately for me, I was able to pull off.

It was a very close-fought game, but the sensor net objective scored me nearly 200 points. I believe when he conceded the net score was 314-150 for an 8-3, 164 MoV.

I believe I have successfully shared the log from Google Drive here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-U60tcJDrVXTmstRWJxZ2sxZDQ/view?usp=sharing - please let me know if you are unable to access it there.

GP vs @Karneck ends 400-28 my favor. We played my PIC, and unfortunately I forgot to log it. I brought Repulse and Renown Mark 5 (see Battle of the Borderlands 2 , except with Han instead of Bright Hope , Ahsoka on the unnamed Slicers, and Vet Captains as the officers on the Liberty 's), while Karneck had dual V-2s with JJ, XI7, DCaps, LS, and GT, two Gozanti s, Zertik, Maarek, Jendon, Mauler, Dengar, and Soontir. He deployed in the corner near only one PIC token, so while Repulse sat there like a good girl and ate several successive rounds of fire from the Vics, Renown swept around to the side, destroyed the Gozanti s (with a helpful ram from not- Quantum Storm Slicer flotilla), and provided the deadly fire for the second Vic. Repulse escaped with three hull, Renown with four, and Ahsoka's flotilla with one, which Renown thanks for a timely navigating ram to hold her in good position to finish off JJ. Han accounted for Mauler, which all said and done is pretty good, considering he didn't die and wasn't in any real danger of doing so. Good game as always, and a pleasant opponent.

EDIT: I also note this leaves me one point short of meeting that 28 in 5 requirement, so I'll need a game over these next couple of weeks if someone will oblige me and remind me that Liberty 's die too easily. They felt almost sturdy this game, it was very weird. I also note this is eerily similar to our first game just a while ago, where again I broke out two Libs, and we played PIC, though that time I was first player.

Thanks for playing, @thecactusman17 ! It was a fun game. :) Sorry for the confusion about the 'no squads' restriction. Squall/Jendon/Yavaris isn't a combo that should exist in the course of normal play.

@BrobaFett kindly offered his Motti list to me to wrap up my qualification, so we played his Capture the VIP. Ended 450-54 my favor, after Repulse just caught the escaping VIP, handed it off to Parnassus , while Wayfarer ( Quantum Storm ) tied up most of his squadrons by refusing to let Morna get a good shot off (rerolls made it go from worthless to still worthless), and Renown ran down and murdered the Quasar . And for the finale, turns out Liberty 's with last/first can pretty easily handle ECM Demolisher s (especially Madine and ET Libs ). Oh yeah, and the Corellian went and got himself alpha'd, and literally never got a shot off. That was inconvenient, and we're probably going back to Leia Comms Net for that reason. Oh well. Also,

YAY, QUALIFIED.

I'll be looking for a qualifier game tonight at about 8pm central, first come first served.

In truth, it took 12 red, 4 blue, 2 structurals, and a ram to kill ECM Motti Demolisher. He's a beast.

There were three more rams, five more reds, and three more blues waiting if he had continued to make a pain of himself. I'll accept that I understated it mildly, and Broba fought well, but in the end the outcome was all but predetermined.

Yep! Was a valiant effort on my part, but you can't put gozantis at close range of a GT liberty :)

Renown : rerolls a blank red and two red accs into blanks, and rerolls a blank into an blank, leaving me with three damage after an evade (that rolled a double into another blank) in a situation where five kills (really dooms but same difference) Admonition.

Also Renown on her next shot: Yeah, I'll just casually roll that ten you need to kill Yavaris through her braces and have a blue acc left over for shiggles.

I'm so confused. The ship is dead, but I can't decide to strike her name from the record or give her a statue. @Ardaedhel

Plainly, generals should stick to surface combat where they belong. Thanks to Madine's wildly inconsistent gunnery skills, our match is up at a 9-2 win for me, which I believe qualifies me the hard way this time.

GP was a great opponent, who not only played extremely well but was also very gracious in the face of the frustration that is losing Superior Positions to a pile of rogues plinking away at your rear arcs over and over and over and over. Fun game, thanks dude!

Not that I need something else to obsess over, but did you check to see if I could have rammed Admo for the kill?

I had the log open and hadn't come up with that maneuver combo yet. I will remember it for the future when I need the corner of my large base jutting out an extra few millimeters. I also think I gave up the game/my chance at killing Admo a couple turns earlier when I was insufficiently aggressive with Repulse 's final maneuver before Madine died, but you definitely didn't let me make up any of the ground. Good game.

Thrindal rose to the challenge attempting to destroy the unstoppable Garm bel Iblis aboard the mighty Defiance, bringing forth a Jerjerrod Isd2 fleet with two arquittans and a flotilla to help him push dengar, howlrunner, and 4 interceptors.

Unfortunately, they proved to be ineffective against the Lord of Tokens as the ISD, an arquittan, and all squadrons where lost in exchange for a flotilla, 2 yt meat puppets, ten numb, and gold squadron. For a final score of 306 to 81 which is either a 9-2 or 8-3 for me. Thrindal was fun to play against and a good sport.

I prefer meat shield but you win for meat puppet......
