Rivals: Fight for the weapon!

By Robin Graves, in Star Wars: Destiny

One of my characters with a weapon upgrade is about to be defeated. I have Ketsu Onyo, my opponent has General Grievous.

Simple question: Who gets the weapon?

Who has the battlefield?

edit: By the way, that makes me want to play eGrevious/Kesuyo just so I can steal your weapon then play hot potato with it. It'd be terrible, but fun.

Player who controls the battlefield wins in this case.

See: Simultaneous Abilities pg18 in the rules pdf.

Oh that's right! Forgot about that. Thanks guys.

Just had this vision of Ketsu and Grievous scrambling over each other trying to grab the same lightsaber. :D

this is kinda the reason i like grievous because he tends to piss off the Redeploy guys
This is another reason to enjoy him, since i usually have him in an action-light deck so i can claim majority of the time.

They also work together: eGrievous and Ketsu: First the general swipes your weapon and then passes it to Ketsu.

Opponent: Can I have my blaster back now?

me: Nope!

Well looks like one more SW Destiny product I'll have to buy. :)

Lol ive actually never had Grievous keep the weapon he stole. Generally i immediately swap it out for a free, more useful weapon from my own deck.
But i still denied Redeploy and got a "free" weapon anyway :)
