What if there will be no previews for the new ships? Maybe FFG wants us to go in blind, at least until reviews start coming out. Is this the reason for being On The Boat without a preview?

Probably not. Being on the boat doesn't mean that a release is imminent, after all. Maybe FFG is trying to have the previews closer to the actual release so they can leverage hype better.

Being on the boat without a preview is nothing remotely new. I don't remember a wave which had previews after the announcement article BEFORE going on the boat in the 2 years I've been playing. If it went to shipping without any previews you might have something.

When an enemy ship declares an atk target with a primary weapon, if you (Biggs) have a target lock on the attacker, and the attacker is able to, they must declare you as an attack target instead.
