Scyk and Jumpmaster - Dumb List of the day

I’m flying this Tuesday. Just to be weird and use these blasted Scyks.

It’s going to be challenging to fly and there is no formation. Everybody is out for themselves but I’m throwing a few red dice.

Well, 2-0 with the list. Loving the Scyks. I can't fly the Jumpmaster. It made a good decoy in the first match but never once was I able to put it in position to block with. I'm not sure my mind is quite wired that way... So, go further into the insanity...

Sunny triggered with the Mangler once per game previously, I had picked her for the list simply because she was the same price as a Cartel Spacer.

I like this; it's very similar to something I've been running. So, you wanna up the jank? Drop the missiles off the Pirates, replace with Deadman's Switches. Juke on the TPV, and give him the Mangler Cannon. With a little luck, you Juke the crit through, and a little more luck, Sunny drops a five hit HLC. Run the Pirates right up in everybody's faces while the Scyks flank around like horrid little gnats with over-sized stings. It's a giggle. Your opponent will likely try to focus on the Scyks, rather than worrying about the "useless" two-die attack Pirates, who will pop in their face anyhow, leaving them free to plink away.

I wanted deadman switch but don’t have it!

The juke/mangler combo is great. I prefer the mangler on Sunny for two reasons.

1) Lower PS so better chance the crit hits hull firing after the HLCs.

2) Three dice is easier to trigger Sunny than four

I do have a similar game plan to yours though!

Sycks are easily my favorite ship, and currently I'm using 4 of them Mindlinked together.

Here's a thought! Drop the 2 Z-95s and pick up Quinn Jast w/ Deadeye, Concussion Missiles, Guidance Chip, and Heavy Scyk for 25 points, then slap Pulsed Ray Shied on the Inaldra and the TPV.

I'm only three Scyks deep, so a fourth won't fly. Did see the list sorta in play tonight in epic... 50 point croc and my list handed over to another player in team epic. Oh those heavy secondary weapons are so cruel. Not the same thing though...

This one is worth finding the points for regardless. Inaldra can get huge mileage out of spending a shield token, so regen is an amazing tool for her.

Plus, it means she effectively gains the option of a speed 1 straight - nice when packing a heavy laser cannon....

Well, after getting beat, and being beat, by this list I’ve gone out and picked up G4H. Harpoons are more expensive than cruise missiles but far more flexible to fire.
