Forgive me for asking, and please don't berate me too much as I'm sure this has been covered on here before...probably a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away!

Hans card ability to re-roll his dice...how does it work? given the card text "When attacking, you may re-roll all of your dice. If you choose to do so, you must re-roll as many of your dice as possible"

It's the last part of his ability that confuses me (you must re-roll as many of your dice as possible)...any clarity would be greatly received...and as aforementioned, go easy on a noob for a question that's probably bread and butter to you guys...I'm just learning to walk here!

That last clause is there to avoid a logic bomb in the event some effect prevents one or more of your dice from being rerolled. In such an instance, you just reroll as many dice as you can.

For example, let's say Han shoots at an E-wing with Sensor Jammer and M9-G8 (and a lock on Han). Han rolls blank-hit-hit. The E-wing uses Sensor Jammer to change one hit to a Focus, and then uses M9-G8 to reroll the other one into a blank.

If you then attempted to use Han's ability, you could not reroll either of those two dice; Sensor Jammer prevents the die it affected from being rerolled, and the other is now subject to the rule that a die can only be rerolled once. Instead you would reroll as many dice as possible, which in this case it just the one untouched die.

With Han you need to have rerolled all of your attack dice. You may have rerolled some earlier (or at least be counted as having rerolled them so you couldn't do it again) but when Han's ability kicks in you pick up any that haven't been rerolled and toss them again.

Yup, this is mostly so that you can e.g. roll eye blank hit, reroll the eye and the blank using a TL or Predator, and having got blank blank, use Han to reroll just the hit, missing, triggering Luke and getting a whole new attack.

Any dice that have previously been rerolled can't be rerolled, btu any that haven't or for which modification is not blocked (e.g. by Sensor Jammer as noted) must be, if you choose to use the abiltiy.
