Copper to silver

By Lord Loren Soth, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

hello guys

me (usually the overlord) and our current overlord(one of my usual players) are disagreeing on something, we played the legendary copper area level 1 tonight and the campaign during level 1 changed to silver, now i said at the end of the current session/level the campaign would change and he said the campaign change at the end of entire dungeon

so what's the exact rule?

does it change every time someone gain conquest?

does it change at end of level?

does it change at end of dungeon?

thanks guys

The campaign level changes at the beginning of the game week.

Which would be after the entire dungeon is played out.

+1, its the first step of the Game Week. You never change campaign level while in a dungeon.

Another +1. It's spelled out very clearly in the rules on page 10.

Indeed. The rules only speak of the campaign advancing in one spot, in the "Time Passes" step of the game week on page 10.

Page 9 is pretty clear as well. It speaks of the Silver and Gold levels, saying that it "becomes a Silver [or Gold] level campaign at the beginning of the game week [where it has enough points]".

yes thanks

i remembered a little while after posting the message, lol i was tired as hell and didn't remembered that's rule

thanks anyway
