Breasty armour is the most stupid thing ever, and only suitable for a male heterosexual fantasy. A woman in sensible armor will never have sexy breasts in it. Someone had to say it.

Wait! You are saying that Anime and Heavy Metal Magazine has lied to me for all these years?!?

So much of my childhood, wasted. . . .

I assure you, it wasn't wasted! :)

Mr Penguin, you don't even know how much those old 'Heavy Metal' covers influenced my gaming...!

I've always had a tremendous attraction to 'strong + sexy' whether it's male or female characters.

And I think this is a part of 'Star Wars' as any other genre. There's a reason Leia was given the slave costume, why Oola had that lacy outfit, why Padme had her wardrobe malfunction, and why Aayla Secura even exists.

It's fantasy , not reality. While that doesn't mean that fanservice needs to be turned up to 11 at all times, for me, the fantasy elements are a good thing. YMMV.

Mr. Penguin, stop making us laugh! I thought you were leaving! We'll have no more of your humorous shenanigans here, not for the next six days!

We want to have our brief respite of mirthless monotony, gosh darn it :P !

Hey, the flight doesn't leave for another 10 or so hours! Still plenty of time to inflict myselves upon you!

...I thought there was a thing about penguins and flying...you're too well-dressed to fly, wasn't it?

They are ceramic plates and designed to take an impact from a certain direction. Dropping them can damage or break them. In fact, breaking is part of how they absorb the impact from rounds.

Dude! Dont get your reality all over my joke! :)

Strike plates are amazing things, but it is still got to be a bit disconcerting to see Handle with Care on them. Probably more disconcerting to see them battered and fragmented after taking a couple hits tho.

It's pretty cool. Since the impact makes the plate unreliable and no longer fit for use, they used to allow the soldier to keep it. I did a bit on it once for work.

Not nearly so disconcerting as reading the part of a Claymore that says "FRONT TOWARD ENEMY!"

Even an 80IQ grunt needs some idea of how the thing works. At least we haven't devolved to the point of just using IKEA pictogram instructions on them :)

IKEA is a lot of things, but it's instructions are NOT suitable for systems that need to be error-free!!!
