Kavil and the Scouts

I had a fun idea about Kavil. Having synced turret on him gives me a four dice range 1 , 2 turret. With trick shot it can be five dice. Throw in a couple of scouts and call it good. What do you guys think?

I think dropping intel agent for Mindlink on Kavil might work better than trick shot, since now you can have both scouts shooting torpedoes the first engange, because they TL and Kavil supplies the focus, that said, Kavil also wants a a TL for his shot, so it might contradict a little, but I still think it's the best choice. 3 Mindlink ships is much better than two, since if you lose one you still have some action efficiency. I can see why you want Unhinged and VT for better maneuverability and try to keep people away from your Range 3 hole, but consider dropping those for Agro, it'll allow you to spend your TL and then your focus and re-aquire the tl for next round. That opens room back for intel agent or Burn Out Slam + Vizago, which is good if your opponent has ptl aces, switch to BMST, if they havee Nym/Miranda, switch to Rigged Chute.

Also, consider Deadeye + Agro on Synced Kavil, it'll allow you to easily switch targets, plus if you can't get a TL the first engage you can still shoot if they fall in R2. Although, would not advise if running with AM scouts, since AM is a better EPT in this case.

Kavil is an awesome fun pilot, I always have tons of fun with him, so I quite like that list of yours, if you end up not liking Synced turret, just switch to TLT + UA (+ AM, of course). ;)

How about this ?

k4 scout can then provide the focus, kavil can take his first target lock and hopefully will get to use the R4 to keep it going, and have one black market slicer for aces and the option for another or cargo depending on matchup.

I like that list quite a bit, but I would remove BMST to upgrade to Agromech on the Vizago Jump. Played with it today and it was amazing, too bad I played with them so late and now they're gonna get nerfed.. :(
