On 10/26/2017 at 3:45 AM, BD Flory said:Because this is false. Marie Lambeau was a preview, and it was promised that she would appear in a normal product at a later date when the book was announced. Mechanically distinct cards have not, as a matter of course, been released except for game products. It has happened in the past, but not for years, and for a now defunct game. Since then, every LCG card released by FFG has been in an LCG product or has been nothing more than alternate art.
So yes, there is very good reason to be surprised -- this is a departure from a long-standing norm in LCG production.
Thanks that's really good news! Um, so where is she? I got a second printing and I'm happy just with the book but I'd really like it too if they would re-print her. I think I have everything current, including the Arkham Nights stuff.

You're lucky you have a friend who's a mod, and I'm glad you made this post! Since saying you don't care what someone thinks isn't abuse, it's an honest statement of your own thoughts that harms no one. Yet calling someone who spends as much as I do on FFG stuff an "arrogant idiot." In the forum THEY directed me to for information as their not-so happy customer? You don't even know what a real idiot is do you? Or apparently the definition of arrogance. Arrogance isn't a bad thing any more that the plain truth is "abuse." Have your pal give me as many points as you like, I ENJOY playing for score. My only point was that OCD CAN be conquered, I've seen it done and there is much empirical support for that idea, but more importantly, and I have a funny feeling FFG will back me up on this, that FFG has the RIGHT to make any kind of product they want to, whenever they want to in spite, or even because of others self-admitted (for reasons I cannot BEGIN to fathom) weakness.(es)

As someone clinically diagnosed with OCD, I think I know a thing or two about the disorder, thank you.

She was only available in special pre-order collector additions of the 'Investigators of Arkham' book, and not in the general release (or 2nd printing) versions. She is going to be released in a forthcoming expansion, most likely the next deluxe box.

That feels so far away though!
I was surprised she wasn't in Carcosa tbh. I wonder about those Occult traited cards she'll be using and if they will come out before she does.
Wouldn't it be interesting if she got a novella with alt art/signatures before she releases her 'original?' LOL. Then you could grab a copy of her alt card/replacements if you wanted to use her before she 'launches.' Actually, I wonder if we could see investigators that haven't been launched before first in novella form. That would be cool, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut... seeing how this thread has gone, I have a feeling that might be a volatile decision (I'd love it though, lol, I want to see Patrice!).
Edited by SoakmanSo I finally finished reading it and enjoyed it quite a bit. Less of a horror story and more of an adventure with mystical elements, but that's par for the course for Arkham Files.
I think they got Jenny near perfect.
